Comments Thread For: Sergio Martinez Wants Kerman Lejarraga as Comeback Opponent

Former two division world champion Sergio Martinez (51-3-2, 28 KO), 45-years-old, is still not walking away from his plan to have a comeback fight. Martinez has been out of the ring since June 2014, when he was knocked out by Puerto Rican icon Miguel Cotto at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Go for it Sergio! I'm sure you couldn't look worse in a ring than Wilder did.

Just stay retired Sergio. If you need to fight Lejarraga as your comeback opponent it kinda should tell you all you need to know.

Thanks for the good times Champ, but please leave 'em hanging there.

He swapped them out with Wilder by the looks of things.

            Exactly...

I really don’t wanna see Martinez fight again.

"It's an idea that I discussed with Miguel, who is my partner and my friend. He told me he liked it.”

So what does he mean by “partner and friend”? Did he come out the closet? Lol I must’ve missed it. I mean it wouldn’t be a shocker, he always dressed gay outside the ring.

Yeah there’s just no point in it. I don’t see it ending well either.

                    haha

I've always been a fan of Sexy Sergio, but I don't want him to make a comeback and get beat down like he did against Cotto.
