His next fight better be Fortuna just like before the injury. No tune ups.

Calling himself the black version of JESUS, perfect in-ring wise

Wish he'd fight someone worthwhile now. Hasn't stepped it up properly yet.

True, and the IBF only ever produces an interim belt when it's actually appropriate, like Iwasa getting it or the Lipinets-Abdukhakorov fight.

So he won’t have to fight Campbell or fortuna and gets to fight one of Eddie’s DAZN eurocans of the month instead and call it a title defense?
What's with all this hate directed towards Haney? It is true he hasn't beat anyone of notice, BUT he was willing and able to fight Lomachenko. That Bob Arum demanded a franchise belt from the WBC to keep the inhouse fighting game going it is more ridiculous and is not Haney's Fault.

This stuff will never fly in any other sport. What a joke. I hope he is proud of beating absolutely no one for that belt.

                  Shame on boxing for this.

Imagine if a team can just complain about not being champion, and then the commissioner hands them the championship title? That would be comedy. Only in boxing can you see comedy like this. 100% a paper champ, has beaten no one of note, beat no one for the belt. An actual fraud right here.
entonces haney campeon de papel?que diriais esas mismas personas si campbell lucha con fortuna y gana?entonces cambell seria el campèon mas vergonzoso de la historia de papel¿

Why would Campbell beating Fortuna make Campbell a paper champion? That would not even be a title fight. And you are barking up the wrong tree, I don’t even like Luke Campbell, so label him whatever you want. And if two top 10 contenders fight for a vacant title, that’s a lot better than literally being gifted one without fighting for it.

Lomachenko dropped the WBC title. #2 Zaur Abdullaev and #3 Devin Haney fought for it.
