Wish we could've seen at least one of these but Ward decided to dip out.

he definitely can and has got by on what works, when the level of competition gets stiffer we will see the adjustments and IQ necessary to beat someone of Wards calibre....but if its NOT broke why fix it

when the best fight the best, what usually works against lesser men wont be enough

thats why ward vs kov was nip and tuck....neither guy had truly close competitive fights until they faced one another

This is why Bivol and Beterbiev need to face each other although I'd prefer the pretext of there being a full undisputed bout between them. Problem is that means Bivol would have to wait for the WBO 175lbs mini tournament for the belt to finish up before he can even consider that. So a big unification to determine the de facto man of the division wouldn't be too horrible either.

Beterbiev would hurt both of them imo
I think he would have an easier time with Ward
Believe Ward would attempt to bully him , try to get on the inside where he’s very efficient
The only thing is Beterbiev would have the advantage in that situation , he’d soon find out plus get touched with that power
Ward would resort to fighting on the outside only to get mauled at some point , Beterbiev has a hard time retreating , meaning he would be coming for him constantly
Bivol would be a bit of a chess match
I think both fighters would do damage but with Beterbiev’s power coming out on top
People think Beterbiev is this Neanderthal who only has power and mauling to his benefit
His only problem , imo , is he’s to willing to take one and thus making him a little scarce in defence
But , in hindsight , we saw what happens when this man gets knocked down

Still think Bivol could do an even better job of keeping Ward off him than vice versa is how I see it really.

Why no Beterbiev in your list
He's actually supposed to face him once Beterbiev get rid of his mando
Huge fight slated for Russia is supposedly in the works

id rather see them fight for the undisputed title as well but at this rate seeing a live fight would suffice at any rate lol

Certainly can't blame a man for that, Dre proved all he had to and retired with more than enough to keep himself and his family comfortably forever if it's used right... and it will be be.

But yeah, there was some really nice fights that could have been made if he had chosen to stay on, and of course Dre himself always had good things to say about Bivol.

I mean sure, I know it's a promo, but I don't have Dre down as a dude who drops praise he doesn't mean.

great assessment...i think if either fought ward in real life we'd have known more about their skills and iq by now

Because Beterbiev is already a top 10 p4per so it's a given he'd propel him there. Plus I was only really going to mention challengers he could face because 175 is that deep.
