Anyone else think Teddy Atlas is Cancer?

Atlas has always been a colorful guy. He has good insight in fighters mentality and has trained top fighters but sometimes he takes too much of a hard stance in his opinions and gets too combative.

I don’t even associate Atlas with Tyson. His impact was so minuscule that I often forget they even knew one another. The fighter who I feel Atlas really helped was Moorer. That was one negative guy who needed someone like Atlas in his corner.

Moorer was trained in the Kronk Gym, they made him a champion.

Atlas came later to play psychological head games with him.

He'd entitled to voice his opinion like anyone else. He is an established trainer/coach who is caught up in the politics of boxing. I think he is truly frustrated that he has been marginalized by various networks for his outspoken approach and he has burned too many bridges. Sometimes he gets it right and sometimes he gets it wrong, but he is always blunt and honest about what he thinks, and that is not what networks want.

Tyson tried to ****** his 11 year old niece you dumb ****. He has a very very good reason for hating the mother****er. I'd wanna kill him too. Mike was the reason he had to split from his own mentor Cus because he rightly held a gun to Mike's head and told him never to touch his niece again like a real man would do.

Bullshit! He's just a former disgruntled employee. He is a very bitter and jealous old man because Cus favored Mike Tyson over him and then fired him; Which have left both his mind and life in total disarray.

Cus D'Amato's firing of him must have really cut him deeply. He has not been the same since. It damned near destroyed him.

It's just like I said he needs to seek out some very serious psychological help in order to cope with his demons because they are torturing the living shit out of him. He has not had a single day's rest or peace because of them.

There is nothing wrong with him, he can be a little bit too passionate for some people, some don’t like his harsh words, but to be honest generation snowflakes would take offence to anything. That incident was just a microcosm of a much larger issue. Teddy resented the fact that Mike was given special favors and privileges from Cus that the other kids at the gym he was supervising at the time were not given. Mike was the Chosen one; The Golden child of the gym and Atlas didn't like it.

That is what pissed Teddy off the most; The double standards. What happened to his niece was only the tip of the iceberg. However, what really ticked off Atlas was that Cus was bending his own rules and code for Mike Tyson like: Getting suspended from school and still being allowed to train at the gym.

You might as well face the facts and the truth. Teddy was just a very bitter and jealous bum who couldn't fight and Tyson could which is why Cus chose Mike over him in such a very cold manner.

The man is totally obsessed with Mike Tyson. He said that Mike Tyson record is really 0-6 for crying out loud.

He has discredited all of Iron Mike's wins because in his words the fighters were not prepared to fight. Therefore, all those victories didn't count. It's a shame that after all these years he can't let go of the resentment.
