ok so your saying that baldy is the man right, because he beat the man. so you have no problem with floyd fighting baldy then. and all of this talk about fighters not wanting to fight marg is just ridiculous he is far from the most feared man out there, alot of fighters will get in the ring with him and some have already called him out. it's just bull**** that he calls out floyd and thinks he deserves the fight and people jump all over him for not taking it and when floyd is in negotiations with baldy (you know the man that beat the man) people still out there talking ****. no matter what floyd does people are going to try to bring him down because that's what happens to the best out there.

dumbest thing i read today.. Margarito deserves a shot with Baldi before Floyd does. Floyd aint done crap at welter. He will get a shot before Maragrito because of money..he was getting a shot at Zab before Maragrito BECUASE OF MONEY..Marg was ranked RIGHT under the ring champ(Zab) and rightfully tried to fight him. but Zab wanted a big payday with Floyd. If Floyd fought TWICE at welter once against Mitchell who was in his first fight at welter too and then Zab who who Baldi just beat..how can you say Floyd is more derserving of someone who has a title and has been detroying everyone they put in front of him at that class for the past few years?? HE IS GETTING THE SHOT BECAUSE of money. since he beat the former "champ" (Zab)at welter they bumbed him ahead of Margarito who was previously ranked #1 under the "ring " champ.

No I have no problem with Floyd fighting Baldomir, but I will not consider him the man at 147 until he beats Margarito. As explained above, Margarito is actually more deserving of a title shot but has been left as the odd man out. And people are scared(when I say scared I mean don't want to take the risk for the reward) of Margarito and the calling out has just started. Also notice that most of the guys calling him out want to use him to make a name for themselves. Floyd, Shane, and Zab all passed on fights with Margarito when they were holding belts. If Floyd fights Baldomir the Margarito then DLH then some combination of Hatton, Mosley, and Cotto you won't hear a peep of complaining out of me. I like Floyd, but as a boxing fan first and foremost, I got to keep it real.

This is all pointless. Any time I defended Mayweather I am taking all that back... he is fighting CORY SPINKS (somebody kill me please!). I have no defense for his actions and welcome all the criticism from people who have been talking about this for months. All I can say is I am sorry and may god have mercy on my soul.

It looks like Mayweather is going after Spinks. I am not excited to see this fight. The arguement will be that it is a tune-up for the De la Hoya fight at 154, and everyone will nod their heads and agree, but I'm not eating the logic. I would have rather Floyd fight Baldomir and legitamize his accomplishments at 147 before jumping up in weight again. When people look back at Mayweather's accomplishments what will they see at Jr. Welterweight? What about at Welterweight? Now Floyd is chasing another belt, in another weight class, without having done much at 147....I'm dissapointed. Baldomir was acceptable for me....Spinks is a let down.

basically i think spinks is gonna get taken to school so bad it's not even funny. i wouldn't mind to see im fight baldomir although i dont think he'll be nearly as challenging as margarito, but hey itll be fun while mayweather tears baldomir's face to shreads with pin point precision and dodges around 45 slow, POWERLESS, incoordinated punches a round.
