For the record I've no problem with either fight, both guys have their pros and cons and I'm a Saunders fan.
How do they know they were taking less than Saunders? Nowhere in the article did I see amounts? It even SAYS “They don’t know what Saunders offer was”

So your assuming just like they were?

      Ok Einstein! I want FACTS

      What was Smith offered?

      What was Saunders offered?

Why didn’t Smith just come out and say what he was offered? Especially if it was soo shty???

Anyone else hate when ***ers say they were lowballed but never say what the amount was???

Saunders admitted it was $1.5 million for GGG when They were saying life changing money and acting like he turned down over $5 million.

Then again where else is he going to get that kind of money
          You know what I mean
I get what you are saying but it's up to him whether the offer is good enough or not. Maybe he did a calculation and decided after his last performance he wouldn't beat Canelo who is the A side with the judges and the casinos unless he knocks him out. A loss to Canelo would adversely affect his earnings going forward. That's all speculation on my part. It's also interesting that Golden Boy never made a counter offer to Smith.

I thought we’d start negotiating and we’d have some back-and-forth,” Smith stated. But that was it. He made one offer then went to social media saying that I didn’t want the fight.

That wouldn't be much different to people assuming Smith turned down 10 million would it?

I don't have figures but there was an article on this site with Hearn saying Smith accepted less than Saunders.

Canelo thought he could get a big pay day, going into talks fighting Smith, but I don't believe for a second he wanted to fight Smith, because he knows he can't beat him. That's why he chose BJS, who had a higher bid and less belts.
