Honestly , where the Fugh is he going to make close to that coin
That doesn't hurt his legacy?

What it probably was is that they seen how much Kovalev got and thought they could get close to that.

For the record I've no problem with either fight, both guys have their pros and cons and I'm a Saunders fan.

If Smith was confident of beating Canelo then why didn't he take the fight knowing that after the win he would be the one being chased down and the one holding the purse strings and deciding terms..
Smith thought it would be his big pay day going into talks with fighting Canelo but I dont believe for a second he entered talks because he thought he could beat him....

Which is cool
But in the end , you need to take what the big dog is offering cause you won’t get that kind of coin elsewhere
Not saying it’s right , but I am saying it’s the reality of things
Unfortunately , maybe
Let’s ask the Rocky Fieldings how they feel

Golovkin used leverage against Canelo in that second fight to improve his share of the purse. Canelo used his ability to draw fans to get a better split for himself. There is no difference. If Smith didn't like the offer and can live with not getting the fight then that's fine.
Well said
But don’t come back and complain
Just makes him look ****** imo
Then again where else is he going to get that kind of money
You know what I mean

And we are not the masterminds , imagine
That’s what blows my mind about people talking like they were at the meeting
I hate all three heavyweights , you know who they are , blows me away when I hear people saying so and so didn’t take 100 million to fight
Fugh I’m ****** but not that ******
So I’m pretty sure neither is 1 or 2 or 3
There must of been something that made them say no I’m not taking that deal
A clause , or you owe so and so three fights wtv
It’s way too much for any fighter to say no , just insane
I hate Haymon but think what his % would be
There has to be more to it
We just don’t know and never will
