    No.

The weight cutting is worse now, because THEY think they can do it etc

Same day weigh in's will force more fighters to fight at their natural weight.

Not very entertaining, its better this way because they get to rehydrate, eat, rest up and come in fresh.

No one has more advantages than anyone else.
Fighters should fight at their natural weights. If they did there woyld be no need for re-hydrating. They would never need to dehydrate in the first place.

Not everyone fits into a neat little weight class, some fighters will still need to cut or be under the weight limit.

Nope, they should fight in the next division up. If. hydrated, they naturally weigh 172 they should fight at LHW. You don't have to weigh the 175 lb. limit to be a LHW ... everything from 169 - 175 makes you a LHW.

            Same for the lower divisions.

You have an issue with someone sweating out a 4 measly pounds to make super middle?

I am naturally 175-180 and that really isn't much for a guy that size so as long as he isn't outsized in the actual fight at LHW.

You gotta think realistically about this.

If a guy makes 175 and can pass a proper hydration test, by no means would I have a problem. If he can't pass a hydration test he should be fighting at Cruiser ...

The shift at LHW to CW is definitely the worst, but HW's can be 210 or 300 lbs or more. So the larger guys take much more risk per the potential size makeups.

For the other divisions it would stop guys being one-two-or three divisions larger than their opponent on fight night. That's the goal.

Fair enough, as long as we don't have weight drained zombies in the ring on fight night and they are relatively close in size once the bell rings.

Same day weigh ins and One day weigh has its pros and cons.

The best compromise right now IMO is the combination of both - IBF's day-before weigh-in and fight day weigh-in. But I think the IBF have to vary the allowable fight day weight gain depending on the weight class and not stick to 10lbs for all weight classes.

We all know the ideal situation is for fighters to fight in their ideal weight class and not cut too much weight just to make the lower eight division.

So in my mind, the addition of the hydration/dehydration levels is the best measure we can implement.
Make weight and make sure the fighter is within safe hydration levels.
