I love the UFC but Dana has been ripping them fighters off for years. Boxing pays fighters way more money and now this scumbag wants to come in with zuffa boxing and rip off more fighters. Ryan Garcia, Haney, Davis are really young and already making more money than the champs of UFC.Comment

So it's an interesting debate for sure. Majority of the crowd, sponsors, ratings etc will be due to the main event fighters. Hence, why they get majority of the purse for the crowd. But it makes it harder for the UC fighters to make a solid living. UFC promotes the brand more than the individual fighters (Aside from a few superstars) while boxing promotes the individual fighters in the main event.Comment

Most of their stablemates aren't even stars though. In the UFC, most of their stars don't even get that much. Gotta hope they get one of those post-fight bonuses to get that far.Comment

Of course. That’s why their top guy, Cono McGregor, wants to box. He knows it too. He sees that $80mill check from the Mayweather fight, goes back and fights for $2-3 million (with sponsors revenue) and yeah, reality hit him hard. Now you got other UFC fighters following McGregor’s footsteps. They’re using UFC as a platform to increase the value of their name, and they will start trickling in to boxing, calling out the top boxing names that can get them bigger pay days than UFC can.Comment

Yea man... these guys are complete ****ing idiots. The issue is this. You don't see who is posting things. If you see the 17 year old looking moron responding on here, you wouldn't... You'd ignore the moron..What's your point? The UFC fighters don't make anywhere near what pro boxers make because of Dana Whiteman's monopoly. That's the point.
You are really making a name for yourself as the latest user to make boneheaded comments on here. Keep it up and you may reach #1 some day!
And that's who's replying here.
BUT EVEN IF... They were to get their fair share, the revenue doesn't add up. People pay way more for Boxing seats and PPV hands down, therefore the fighters get paid much more.
I swear, these kids on this forum kill me.Comment
