ive tried to tell the boxing community this but they just dont want to hear that that not all boxers get paid like they think. Crawford and lomachenko making millions but the rest of his stable are making $500 to 200k.

Dude Zhang Weili just went to war for 5 rounds and was only guaranteed 100k she is the champion and first Chinese champion meaning she has a whole country behind her especially with what is going on right now and yet she was only guaranteed a purse of 100k she won the close fight and got another 100k bonus so like you say the rest of the stable only making 200k well that's what UFC champions are making the undercard fighters of boxing make the same as UFC in general some only 10k some more but the difference is once they work their way up to televised spots they are making more than a UFC champion that is for sure if they were in Weilis position they would be touching M's easy.

I know Weili made more than that overall obviously but it's still crazy to think even Israel Adesanya with New Zealand and Nigeria behind him was only guaranteed 500k for a UFC PPV main event.

I watch boxing and MMA, have seen both live. I prefer boxing by far, but the sport has to acknowledge that it is messed up. Joshua should have fought Wilder before Doughboy Ruiz came into the picture. The separate interests and corrupt fragmented belts are a huge disadvantage. There are more great matchups not made than made. In MMA, the fans get the fights they want. So how do we get that in boxing, Arum?

I think John Nash did a study on this and the top boxers earn more in comparison to top UFC stars. But overall, UFC undercard fighters make more than boxers.

Some boxers get purses that are much bigger than UFC guys. But it's red a herring either way.

Dana White says boxing is run like a shit show. By and large he is right. This is not UFC vs boxing. I love boxing; I dislike UFC. But if you are objective and sane, you cannot possibly think boxing is run the way it should be.

No rational person would conceive of running a sport the way boxing is run. The alphabet soup of titles. The top fighters in the division avoiding each other for literally years. The lack of any central oversight. The promoters with too much power. The ever-diminishing fanbase because all big fights cater only to existing fans. Yes, certain fighters earn a fortune. But so what?
