Can someone please tell me what the ggg fans did to deserve all this persecution?

GGG did nothing, but there are posters on here who get him the hate he gets..inflating his resume while trashing people who have done far more..all it is right now is retaliation....Golovkin is a very solid fighter and a tough match for anyone..But the disrespect for "SOME" of his uneducated followers gets him slammed..HELL BETTER AND MORE ACCOMPLISHED BOXERS GET WAY MORE HATE

Started with me a few days ago on the subject... I told the dude to chill out and gave him many chances to drop it, but he kept persisting while egging me on and gloating.... Well, he woke up a sleeping beast and I will be on his ass

that might be true if you really believe fighters have no say in their career...and to be honest golovkin was not aligned with anyone so powerful that golovkin couldnt have had a say...he wasnt with haymon or arum or oscar....golovkin chose to go along and make the same mistakes that were made......

granted golovkin made out well.....he made a ton of money....but his legacy and resume is weak.....he didnt do what he had to do in order to make fights sooner or to make good ones

Well granted there probably are things that GGG could have done better under his HBO tenure but I'm not sure being with a minor league promoter like K2 with no stable is ever going to be an advantage when it comes to getting good fights. Furthermore it's become very obvious in hindsight that the suppposedly bottomless coffers of HBO were anything but and there was no point at which Golovkin was ever their single biggest budgeting priority. Hell dude didn't even crack $1 mil til he was 33 years old.

hbo greenlit fights for him, as a headliner, they probably wouldnt have for anyone else man....and they paid him pretty well for those fights...hbo wanted/needed to try to cultivate a superstar.....they did a pretty good job with golovkin when you really look at it....

golovkin is a very good fighter...but he had people believing he was some ATG that beats everyone and anyone ever at MW....hes not that guy....but people talked about him like he was
