I was very tempted to pick Morales for the decision upset but Gomez’s power just makes me think he finds the stoppage.
Naz went down time to time, but he had a legitimate chin and was able to recover very well. Obviously a lot of the KDs had to do with him being out of position. Two southpaws going at it though would have been interesting. Pacquiao wins but still say decision.

Gomez was obviously a special puncher, but Morales chin was damn good, especially at the lower weights. Don't count out Morales finding Gomez's chin either. That would have been a hellacious war.

I just think he beats any of the more recent featherweights quite convincingly. I was considering putting Sal Sanchez vs Willie Pep in there tbf.

I got a better one for you actually man... let’s imagine Salvador Sanchez doesn’t tragically pass away in 82 and we get an all Mexican super fight between Salvador Sanchez and Julio Cesar Chavez in the mid to late 80’s at either 130 or 135.

Yeah Naz was a tough guy. There’s rumours he used to go toe to toe with Clifton Mitchell at times in the Wincobank.

Yeah, Pacquiao was obviously explosive as it gets, but I think Hamed sees the final bell. He would get some of his shots off himself but not enough. Just kind of hard imagining that fight though with two southpaws that have completely different movements in the ring. Nas would definitely be off balance quite a bit and could see him getting dropped a few times and badly hurt. But would have been a fun fight to watch.

I got one, Bowe vs Tyson?

When it comes to Tyson in fantasy matchups I always tend to go the other way as I’m kinda of that Teddy Atlas mindset that Tyson couldn’t win when it got tough. So I’m kind of always asking myself could Tyson get him out of there before it gets tough? Bowe was always pretty hittable I thought, so I think there’s an argument Mike hurts then stops him but I’d probably still lean towards Bowe by late stoppage. Good matchup, it’s a real 50/50 IMO.

I think a prime RJJ looked close to unbeatable at 175, but I’ve always thought that Michael Spinks would’ve had the best chance at beating him due to his combination of size and skill.
Yeah it’s just I’ve been watching the Spinks vs Johnson fight and couldn’t get that knockout out of my mind.I heard them refer to the Spinks Jinx.

Ward at 168 was also special and just more consistent overall than Toney. I also like him in a close decision. I don't see Pacquiao stopping Hamed at FW, but he would win. Mayweather over Lomachenko at 130 in a clear decision. May even drop him at some point. Lopez vs Chocolatito? Wow, tough tough one. Gomez vs Morales? Damn, again have to think about it more on some of these mythical match ups.
Agreed spinks was unreal . Funny how many guys say he was a bum at heavyweight to discredit tysons win ( I dont think too highly of Tyson but iam realistic ) first off spinks was an ATG LHW . And he has an ATG win at heavyweight. Spinks is severely underrated by these younger fans . He was a phenomenal talent .

Bowe UD tyson . Imo bowes prime was pretty much one fight . But if the bowe from the first holy fight shows up that's a hard fight for any heavyweight in history . If mike didnt clip rid**** ( which I doubt he would , the man had an iron chin ) he would get taken deep and frustrated and possibly stopped late .
