Garcia has a been cross eyed since the Spence fight. That was the ******est fight. He was permanently deteriorated. We'll never see him fight Loma or Davis. But he did get paid, I guess that's all that really matters in the end.

Mikey is content with making money off his real estate investments
So he wants to move up in weight and fight people twice his size, for no reason? Or a Pacquiao for no reason? Sure whatever you're discussing about real estate (which I won't comment on because I do not know what he's said regarding this), I'm sure is great for him as well. But he's fighting names we've all heard of. And he's TRYING to do big things. Why **** on a guy like that?

Mikey vs Crawford first than if he wins which I doubt than fight Manny. He needs to earn it before fighting for big $. Mikey is very overrated, that one two from Mikey is excellent but I think that's not enough to beat Crawford and Manny.

I can agree with that statement a lot. And that's coming from a Mikey fan. I don't agree that he's overrated at all. Where is he rated? Top 15 p4p maybe at best? That's reasonable. But think about what you're asking.... fight Crawford whos universally ranked 1 or 2 P4P, and then fight Pac who is the greatest fighter of our era, sans Mayweather.... who in boxing does that?! No one! So why does Mikey have to face that? He doesn't.

Where am I ****ting on him? Im saying the reason he is fighting Spence and Pacquiao is for legacy, a guy who doesnt need money can afford to do that, he is only in the game for that 5th weight division title which will make him a first ballot hall of famer.

If you read correctly he doesnt need the money he has real estate, so he only wants legacy fights now. Where was as crapping on him?

Ok I understand you now. I thought it was sarcasm on your behalf. I was wrong in your demeanor. My apologies. I agree with what you're saying.

I may just spend the night in this thread! Haha. So..... why does it matter that we won't see him fight Davis or Loma?! That ship has sailed long ago and should honestly be forgotten about. But it's not BAD that it won't happen. He will just be fighting other top notch contenders in other weight classes. I don't grasp the fascination with the Mikey Loma fight (definitely not Davis. That's rarely ever been mentioned). They were never really close as far as career timing and direction.

To the poster that said Mikey isn't just smaller, he's slower..... that's a fair assessment. But Mikey is a timing and rhythmic fighter first and foremost. I think his "style" could allow him to fight in ANY weight class, even higher than 147. But his talent and size won't allow that. He'll get destroyed above 147. But make no mistake..... he can handle 147. It may not be his best weight. He may not win decisively all the time. But he could surprise some of you guys here.
