LOL you Wildettes. Keep saying it but literally everybody else knows it's Wilder that did the ducking, any of those that wernt sure really had it confirmed when Wilder turned down the 100-120 million offers.

And to be honest now we have seen how wilder couldnt cope at all with the 1st good top level fighter he's ever faced we can all see why Wilder has ducked so many challenges his whole career.

We used to be angry with Deontey the duck but now it's clear he doesn't belong with the top boys we do t actually blame him for all the ducks.

Wilder would be outta the equation had there been some half decent heavyweights. Theres been none for over a decade so it's a case of watching these 3 take it in turns to keep the weight division going.

It's a circus getting dragged out

Have Fury an AJ put the belts up, get it over and done with so we can put the hype to bed because it got boring a long time ago....

There is no need for AJ wanting to fight Wilder for now. AJ wanted to fight Wilderin the past because Wilder had the WBC belt. AJ's ambition is to become undisputed HW champ. After he has accomplished that, Wilder has to man up to challenge him.

Pretty sure this is pre-DAZN anyway.

Bottom line - Wilder is out. He won't get that $100m+ deal again. Joshua will make $50m, no problem. Probably multiple times before he retires.

So you tell me, who came off better?

Wilder will fight Fury again before he gets another offer to fight Joshua and if he loses, he'll be all but done. He'll then be free to pursue a career in modeling Halloween costumes.

Yes & John skipper head of DAZN said he got the negotiations wrong with Wilder.
Aj doesn't have a DAZN contract, so how can skipper give Wilder any guarantees?
Remember also Aj said on sky in 18 that he won't be rushed into the Wilder fight. He said 19 20 21.
He then asked for 50 mill, Wilder put it up & Aj didn't want any of that smoke.
I was a fan of Aj. Then i saw that sky interview.

Only way it comes to fruition is if Wilder beats Fury in III.
I dont care if I have to wait till Fury is fully unified and undisputed or however it plays out as long as we get to see it as fans. Some posters on this site kill me. I understand a dislike for someone or having a favorite but to ignore the possibility of a HUGE fight because of dislike for a fighter is insanity at its finest.

Joshua-Fury is more important at this stage than Joshua Wilder. Two fights back-to-back while Wilder fights Whyte and Ruiz

Same thing I said, Carl. That's the fight that should happen, not Fury. Not yet.

Let Fury shut Dillian up and get him out of contention. Wilder/Joshua is the fight that will easily draw casual money. Then let Fury unify with the winner.

You honestly think they would have signed Wilder to fight Joshua without securing Joshua? AJ was ok with the fight as long as it was held in London. The $50 million Haymon offered stipulated that the fight would be in the U.S.. Wilder didn't take the offer from DAZN, because he didn't want to fight Whyte first, although he tried to make the excuse that it was because Hearn wouldn't reveal how much AJ was getting paid.

The only reason Skipper gave was, “I rushed into the negotiations without building a relationship with Wilder’s handlers beforehand”...that is almost verbatim, I can’t be bothered to google and look at the exact quote word for word. That is Skipper basically saying “we still want to make a deal when you find your b0llocks, so I’ll say it was my fault”.

If Skipper somehow messed the negotiations up, then why wouldn’t Wilder or Finkle say so? Instead of saying “there were many issues as to why we didn’t accept the offer, we’ll reveal the details in due course”...what were these “many issues” you might ask? “They wouldn’t tell us what AJ would make”...what else you might be wondering?...nothing. Literally. That is the only reason they’ve ever given LOL

He never asked for 50 mil. He made a flippant remark on an iFL TV interview in response to Finkle claiming it was a $100m fight. Haymon did not front that $50m. He added to the pot, and so did...guess who? Frank Warren, on behalf of BT Sport. That phoney $50m was to secure the rights to the fight and compensate AJ for breaching his contract with Sky Sports. He’s contractually obliged to have all voluntary fights aired on Sky Sports in the UK. He has sponsors associated with that same deal. If AJ called their bluff and accepted, he’d need that $50m to pay everybody that sued him.

“We’ll offer you $50 million, with no terms, you can’t negotiate, we’re not having a meeting, we’re not having a phone call, you’re not having a contract, verbally agree and we’ll give you more details”

Yea...that’s really a legit offer lol
