Crawford-Brook is a terrible matchup.

Crawford wasting his prime years away lolFirst off I rate Terence Crawford as the 2nd best P4P fighter on this planet. I’m not trying to hate on the guy.
But, Terence Crawford fighting Kell Brook is a disgraceful mismatch. Brook is completely washed and will have to absolutely kill himself to make 147, he hasn’t had a relevant win at 147 since 2014, and he hasn’t fought at the 147 limit in 3 years. This is just a simple case of Brook cashing in in whatever’s left of his name value.
Crawford should be targeting top contenders, I know a lot of the PBC guys are not exactly options but at least go and get Abdukakhorov, Bes***** etc.
There are even better options within Hearn’s stable, Prograis, Vargas, Garcia etc.
I have no interest in seeing Terence Crawford annihilate a waged up guy who will have lost the fight the moment he gets on the scales.
I do believe spence is the one avoiding him though.
Pac and floyd are legit atgs already at 33, can retire anytime.
Look where these guys at it’s funnyComment

Worse part about it is that it will only get worse from here on
But I do agree that Spence imo , is the one marinating thisComment

Fair point... I understand the name value aspect but I just think Brook is completely done at 147. I think it’s borderline dangerous him facing a fighter like Crawford at that weight.Comment

Better than Mikey. As mikey is not even a legit 147 and is considered a spence leftover.
But not better opponent than shawn cmon now!! Shawn just had competitive fight against spence. Had competitive fights over top welters for years. He is active and currenly on the top 5. He will surely test crawford, probably beat him too lol
Brook is not rank anywhere.Comment

I can kind of see both sides. From Spence’s perspective obviously he’s going to be pushed towards fighting the Porter’s, DSG’s, Thurman’s, Pacquiao’s etc as they are in house fights and I can’t really complain with that because they are all good matchups and it does make sense from a business standpoint.
Then Crawford is rightfully loyal to Bob who’s navigated his career very well, but is obviously frustrated that’s he’s on the outside looking in, but as much as I sympathise with his situation he must’ve knew this was likely when he signed an extension with TR in 2018.
As a fan I just wanna see the best two welterweight’s in the world face off like Leonard-Hearns did in 81, but there’s so much f***ing politics nowadays cause of networks, promoters, advisers, managers etc. Seeing Fury-Wilder 2 at least restores some optimism that these sort of fights can be negotiated.Comment
