Crawford-Brook is a terrible matchup.

That's careful building. Now he's targeting Pacquiao (WBA champ) but willing to fight his mandatory Danny Garcia (#6 ww) to set up the Pacquiao fight?

That's not milking anything. That's a legit boxing platform being built. That's creating a lineal claim to the division and attempting to unify it.

When the Crawford fight happens. Either Spence will have all the leverage by holding 3 of the 4 relevant titles or will have nothing and be fighting Crawford to salvage his career, if Crawford would even want to fight him in that occurrence.

On the flip side of that. Crawford is fighting literal unknowns. Guys not even ranked in the top 10 of the division by The Ring after beating the weakest belt holder in Jeff Horn.

I don't say any of this to be bias. Just to point out what is occurring. A legacy is being built, it's just not always seen until after the smoke settles and the gloves are hung up.

Brook (champ), Porter (champ), Mikey (#6 ww former champ), Pacquiao (champ), Crawford (champ).

That's a legacy. He'll have cleared the division with that string of fights (if he wins them all)

bar Thurman but that guy crawled under a rock after losing to Pacquiao. So who knows where he is.

Yup crawford fight will happen when they’re 35. Still the same point i was making.

Prime Crawford will be his best win.

I'll be waiting for this fight with baited breath when boxing resumes. I'll be interesting even in tune ups tbh....

            Matchups whatever

But Brook might honestly be the best name Crawford can get before he fights Ramirez/ Taylor winner who will be undisputed. There’s just no big name WW on Buds side to Fight

This is probably Brooks best option to fight a big name or cash out , Brook would get beat down fighting any top guy at 154 & he’s not even the radar for any PBC WW .

Brooks handlers just royally f.ucked his career after Porter , wasted a great opportunity

The real promoter of Crawford is Keith Thurman.

When Thurman said Crawford should fight Khan, it happened.

When Thurman said Crawford should fight Brook, now it's gunna happen

I think Crawford is really insecure and about what Keith Thurman has to say about him.

Brooks a bum. Has one crappy win, where all he did was clinch the whole fight. Wouldn't mind seeing him get knocked out silly though.

He couldve fought for the title at 154 many times, but only wanted to fight Sadam Ali. Dudes a coward.

Certainly isnt a great match-up but I could see it being entertaining for as long as it lasts.

OP is correct, Brook will drain himself to make weight. Don't understand Crawford,he's disallowing his talent to be exercised unless he has semi-retired and is only taking easy fights for the coin.
