Hard fight fir Floyd, very hard fight. Cotto continued to pressure Floyd and he got great success, and Margarito is a better pressure fighter than Floyd, he can cut off the ring well, Floyd cant shoulder roll all day against the ropes with Margo.

      Floyd avoided Margarito
      Just that says it all
No way am I saying he loses but after carefully matching himself against all his opponents, there’s reason to believe ............

I would favour Floyd, mainly because the only advantage Margarito really had would be his size.

Having said that, Margarito was a beast and a great front foot warrior.

Floyd feared him deeply, that was very evident.

Lol... I actually think it would look like one of Floyd’s few wins against a prime opponent. I.e the Corrales fight.

Easy Mayweather UD. Anyone who says different needs to choose another sport.

Who wins this battle? Break down this match-up....

Would’ve been the best prime fighter floyd fought if it happened in 2008. I’ll give him full credit if it happened in 2008.
But hindsight of course all the handwraps, idk if it would’ve been worth it.

So corrales is still the best prime fighter floyd fought.

Make no mistake prime margarito would be one of floyd’s best wins. Compare to greats who are past primes.

Floyd had top conditioning, fast foot speed. I don't see him running out of gas like Cotto. Plus he was too smart, he would have conserved energy by tying him up.

But Antonio was a good inside fighter, an ATG chin, and most likely would come to the ring with brick handwraps aka Paris Plaster lmao.

Floyd would have won but would have took damage.

IMO all the 147lbers he didnt fight, Floyd would have most likely won.

"BUT" .......He would have took damage in every fight.

Prime Cotto, Margarito, Willams, Mosely. Pacquaio
Floyd would have found a way to win, was secretly tough, extremely smart, ATG skills and conditioning.

But no way he leaves those fights without mild to hard damage taken.

And no way he would have fought till the age he did after doing so.

                      Great points
Floyd was special as a boxer but even more as a matchmaker
And your definitely right he would of taken much punishment had he fought most of those names in their prime
Making it way harder to keep his O
But would of gotten so much more respect from everyone
We all know it bugs him although he makes light it doesn’t
