You guys want a fantasy fight to beat Mayweather at least pick a great fighter not a cheating plodder that is not near Floyds class.
m not trying to find people to beat him. i saw castillo beat him is he a great fighter? its all about match ups. it would have been an interesting matchup but floyd didnt want it and fought guys like sharmba for less money. marg was only ranked #1 for 4 years i mean why fight him when you can fight sharmba and zab coming off a loss to a bum? hey if they let you why not?

Way better fighters than Margarito were embarrassed by Floyd is that realistic, or how about guys that stopped and also beat Margarito were beaten clearly by Floyd is that realistic.

Margo would not win a single round against Mayweather he was a over rated tough guy that was very slow, just no way no how.

Floyd is a vwey well known ducker so the obvious answer is that he will never step in the ring with marg but if by miracle that floyd had fought marg then i think marg constant preasure is too much for floyd. Margarito=maidana x 2.

Arum tried to push that fight I think he And mayweather were on the outs but I clearly remember a press conference where mayweather was defending himself about a claim he was offered x amount of money and was ducking Margo.Arums reply was yes mayweather will fight any one whose name is not margarito.Arum always up to no good.

this debate isn't worth having since "prime" margarito refers to a plaster margarito. when he lost his plaster he lost his "prime" ness. floyd would beat the ever loving dog sht out of a plaster free margarito.

Floyd wouldn't have gotten any credit for beating Marg, I mean who the heck was he you until that point. Floyd would have outboxed him easily. Floyd's team are know to be sticklers so no way Marg coukda use plaster. Ppl give Marg more credit that he deserves. He was volume puncher that relied on pressure. Nothing more

Fight should have happened, but I really don't know who would have won.

He was considered a boogey man at that time. Taller than Floyd, reach, hard hitter, granite chin, in his prime.

I could see Marg walking Floyd down eventually and hurting him, scoring TKO.

                  Or a Floyd SD victory.

It would be like rematching De La Hoya 5 years later...

I don't even think Magarita's signature loaded wraps improve his chances.
