wow that sounds so amazing until you realize thats what happens in every fight or is your argument canleo picks the judges for every other fight he has and his opponents have zero say? that sounds really bad in that case.

The Nevada commission adjusted their judge selection protocol in response to team GGG's complaints. When Moretti who was one of GGG's preferred judges was given the return assignment, Canelo had no complaints (even though both fighters had the right to object), and instead simply commented that he found it ironic that GGG claimed to want a change in judging only to turn around and request the same guy who had been favorable to him before.

That’s what I want out of my entertainment. When I pop a movie in, I want to see the main character go to his same old job, have normal conversations, then drive back home under the speed limit. Maybe he can **** his wife but only if it’s under the sheets and on screen for just a few seconds. The pillow talk must consist of what the neighbours upcoming dinner will be like and whether a potato salad should be made. Keep doing that over and over with no conflict at any point and I’m golden. Who needs Rocky when you got this?

But Canelo isn’t too bad, they did match him up with very easy fights for awhile though
Amir Khan, Smith, JCC, Kirkland. He finally got some good matches in there:
GGG x2, Jacobs, Kovalev.

Although if you noticed his fights against tougher opponents make for less action packed fights.

This boxing...... Everyone has different styles and temperaments.

Thats why certain guys like Ali, SRL were special cuz they pulled out great performances vs other elite guys.

And if that movie has a fanbase, and other people enjoy why risk bombing at the box office trying to change things for certain people?

I find him boring as well. Fights at the same pace from start to end of fights. No smelling of blood. No second gear. No urgency at all. Then he always slows down near the end.

But yup he’s a good all rounder. Great upper body movement. Phenomenal chin. Combined that with bias judging more often than not, then he’s really hard to beat.

Canelo is really good, but yup boring and uninteresting.

Yall both wrong tho.... Canelo is who he always was. A power punching counter puncher. Thats his style. Why he got mopped by Floyd, his style is doesn't match up good with him.

If you say all of Canelo fights were exciting you most likely a fanboy lying. And if u say all are boring your hating. Look back at his entire career its obvious he needs to be matched up with the right opponent to bring out the fireworks.

Look at Khan, Sergey fights? You take the KO away and both fights were extremely underwhelming.

Idk why guys expect every fighter to put on a fight of the year vs other elite fighters. Thats what contenders and ex champs are for. But champions gonna do what they need to win.

I'm not a Canelo fan but i think the fact that he can't speak english is an issue. If people actually understood what he says when he talks trash, talks in interviews, etc..i think people would pay more attention.

As for the face of boxing thing, i'm not sure if there is a face of boxing right now. When anyone mentioned boxing, you always thought of Floyd and his flashiness, arrogance, confidence, he was the bad guy.

There are no bad guys in boxing right now, nobody that you would love to see get his ass kicked. No huge trash talkers and nobody that gets your blood boiling. Too many guys smiling and quiet at press conferences, not enough trash talk or emotions. At the Fury-Wilder 2 prefight, they didn't let them faceoff or something because they were worried about fighting or some ****? Let them ****ing riot before the fight, add some energy and intensity to the fight.

Sure, they finish it in the ring but as fans, i think we all like to see trash talk and some drama leading up to the fight. Just not enough of that anymore. Just my opinion.

Knowing him hes arrogant enough to think he doesnt need to learn English and just rely on the mexican public in the u.s to pretty much support him and make him bigheaded enough into thinking hes better than he actually is.
