IBF Interim Light Welterweight Champion --> IBF Light Welterweight Champion (5 successful defenses, lost to Tszyu)
WBO Light Welterweight Champion (1 successful defense, moved up)
Undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF, Ring, and Lineal Welterweight champion (1 successful defense, lost to Baldomir)
IBF Light Welterweight champion (lost on first defense to Khan)

Best wins: Junior Witter, Terron Millett, DeMarcus Corley, Cory Spinks, Lucas Matthysse

Losses to world champs: Tszyu, C. Spinks, Baldomir, Mayweather, Cotto, Clottey, Khan, D. Garcia, Malinaggi

His only bad loss was his final one to journeyman Cletus Seldin.

He's certainly not SRL or Floyd but I see no reason to hate on Zab. Most fighters would die for a resume that reads like that. He won four world titles including an undisputed lineal, he clearly wasn't scared to take dangerous fights, he gave the sport all he had.

Eye test... he definitely had talent.

Solid wins over Spinks, Corley and Matthysse.

Also remained around the top of his division for over a decade so credit for that as well.

Supernatural speed and a nasty streak. Those were his main attributes. It took him very far, but as always, he was exposed by better fighters.

Just a good athlete who happened to box.
Still gave floyd a hard first 4 rounds lol. That would be his best achievement.

We’re not blind we all see the skills. He just wasn’t a perfect fighter. There’s no shame in that. His problem was he didn’t like to be hit back in a sport where people hit you back.

We really need to STOP overrating Lucas Matthysse. Like seriously.

I think we need to stop acting like Zab actually beat Matthysse. It was an absolute criminal decision where he was gifted the win purely for surviving.

He won maybe 4 rounds and suffered a knockdown.
