Shang Tsung handles most of the heavy lifting. You guys wouldn’t know about that though.

This dude, right here, has been Top Ranks elite guy for matchmaking for about the last 40 years. Probably had a hand in making half the legendary fights during that period.

        Trampler IBHoF:

Great article about trampler and the early days of Floyd:

Nah it's just Bob Arum running the entire company. He even cleans the offices and has to lock up every night.

Ha. Beat me to it. The other dude's Brad Goodman - learned the ropes under Trampler and been there very nearly as long.

Great interview here for those with an interest in the 'behind the curtains' aspects of boxing.

No, he has a matchmaker. However, Todd DuBoef is the president of his company. Therefore, he is responsible for most of the day to day operations within that company Top Rank including the matchmaking.

bruce trampler is one of the best matchmakers in boxing and he brings TR fighters up. when it comes to the major fights and negotiations it's arum who would ultimately have the final say.

Yeah, that's probably very much on point. I'm sure Trampler and his counterparts in other promotions still have an input in the bigger fights - they'll have an eye on which styles and fights would suit their guys best, but ultimately past a certain point I'd have to imagine the financial and business considerations will take precedence.
