I remember Max Kellerman say he thought that punch was the best pure KO until the Lewis vs Rahman 2 KO. It was a great short right for sure, but to be fair he tried it all night.Comment

Not often knockouts like that happen, that is the kind of stuff that makes casuals hardcore fans, seeing **** like that . Def top 3 kos I've seen in my lifetime , altho that's off the top of my head , it may be number one or two .Last edited by NORMNEALON; 03-20-2020, 07:27 PM.Comment

Haha I just posted a response saying that the Harris Jefferson ko was top 3 in my lifetime I got the pleasure of seeing , maybe higher , but I'd say rahman lewis 2 is prolly above it because there was so much on the line . That was savage and I was a Rahman fan , I'd followed him since he was a young prospect . That KO was also savage and damn near perfect . He just simply proved Rahman didnt belong in his class . He had a chip on his shoulder .Comment

Cool story. Appreciate the link man!Always wondered where the name came from. Don’t know if this is true, but one guy on the Internet said, “He named it after his high school girlfriend…like her, the punch was a knockout.”
And although you’ve probably read everything there is to read on Rocky, here’s a short but sweet article you may not have: http://www.espn.com/sportscentury/fe.../00016159.htmlComment

I've always loved Jersey Joe calmly walking across the ring and decking Wizard Charles with one punch.
As for HWs, this might be my best one.Comment
