Got nothing to do with age. You know damn well he’d still destroy that weak opposition he was fighting from age 31 to 34.

I doubt that has much to do with it. Give the guy his credit. And plus GGG been struggled in all his step up fights.

      Kell Brook( till the TKO)
      Danny Jacobs ( controversial win)

And you’re missing the whole point of how this is risky. Booking a fight while you have an upcoming fight with a top opponent never ends well.

Oddsmakers had Erik Morales as the favorite vs Zahir Raheem, an interim fight, before Morales vs Pacquiao II, which was agreed on already.

Oddsmakers had Judah as the heavy favorite vs Baldomir, while Mayweather vs Judah was already signed and sealed.

You are missing the point. Fighters having a fight vs a solid fighter and then booking another fight vs a better opponent can lead to complacency. Overlooking the opponent because you have a bigger event after that.

It’s actually quite easy to understand how this helps BJS and his chances of winning increases.
I agree with what ur saying. U tempt fate with having your ducks in a row. I figured nelo would open -250 vs GGG but I also suspected sum could have it -350, but I also feel corny talking about those numbers as they both have supposed fights before hand. I mean this is boxing, we can’t really get ahead of ourselves. I agree it only should motivate BJS who is focused on one fight only. Plus with BJS being a decent underdog he can potentially get extra credit in close rounds as that being him over performing and nelo under performing. I don’t think Nelo has as much stroke in ring as he used to even if he’s all powerful outside. I mean Kovalev was closer than I thought he’d be on the cards.. But maybe with a ggg trilogy signed... Anywho I agree with what ur putting down, maybe the system will be against bjs but the precedent of things never going according to plan might be with him.

Of course Canelo is favorite. He won the rematch fighting GGGs fight.

Its stunning that Canelo keeps giving GGG handouts though. The fight taking place at 160 is a handout. I would never have done that. GGG drug Canelo up in weight years ago...karma's a bitch, but Canelo is too nice for that.

Nonetheless Canelo is going to stop GGG. Cant wait

And I hope Canelo is juiced to the neck and it's a brutal 4th round TKO

Borat talked too much trash for me while making DIVA demands.

          - never rematched Danny...announcers and many others had Jacobs winning
          - never rematched Sergeiy...the whole world had Sergeiy winning

          - complained about Canelos beard
          - complained about Canelo being too loud in lockerroom
          - complained about Canelo being "businessman" then held out over PPV split
          - complained about wanting all the belts then not wanting any belts
          - complained about judging
          - picked judges in rematch and complained about judging again
          - fired lifetime trainer for agreeing Canelo won
          - had to pick Canelos gloves
          - boasted about Mexican styled and then got Styled by a MexiCHAMP

          - ducked Andrade, BJS, Lara, Canelo and Cotto at CWs in 2013-2014, refused CW w Kell Brook, constantly fought cab drivers and construction workers like Vanes, Rolls, and now some random amateur european.
          - has among weakest resume of champions in boxing, EVER

GGG had a good jab, but hes about to get stopped and its gonna be a Popcorn event for me.

Coronavirus gonna delay fight till December = even older Borat = Borat gonna get MERCD

Golovkin will get his money, which is what he asked for - good for him. I still have no interest and (like many others) will not watch, at least not live.

You seem to be the kind of twisted guy that also takes pleasure in watching executions - that is a bit disturbing. But then again, psychiatrists also have to make a living.

Yes. I will not watch it live (at ringside, like I have in the past). Probably a replay a couple of days later.

                  ———-

Canelo dumped a belt when he was mandated to fight GGG.

                  https://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp...518-story.html

Second, GGG beat Canelo in their first fight and got robbed. This was the unanimous consensus of almost analysts plus unbiased boxing fans.

The 2nd fight was close but most agree that Canelo won it by virtue of being the aggressor.

GGG is now almost 40 so Canelo beating him is not surprise. When you write the illogical and biased opinions, it can only mean you have zero knowledge of history, or do not understand the sports of boxing and what age does to boxers or you are just a close minded, ignorant and biased individual.

For most true boxing fans, we know and understand history to know GGG is no longer the same guy that beat Canelo the first time and there is no shame in that because Canelo did duck him for a while.

Lastly, I can beg you are one of those that think Floyd should give Canelo a rematch and either ignore facts and history or just don’t know shït about boxing (to quote Roger).

Floyd beat Canelo easy. He is now 42 years old and fights at 147. A weight Canelo can never make. But I digress.

Now, to prove my point, all you are going to do is come back here and call me names or curse me out like a school yard bully. I can’t wait.

Crap fight. Will probably look like a sparring session with a few heated moments. No matter what GGG does, he loses a decision so hopefully he goes all out and tries to knock Canelo out.

The first two fights are ancient history, those results are in the books and that's it. The first fight was a bad decision and when GGG had the chance to correct it in the second fight, he lost. Fury beat Wilder in fight 1, got a draw and then knocked the **** out of Wilder in fight 2. That's what GGG needed to do, use his strengths to his advantage and he failed to do it
