He is not even that bad. he is clearly top 20, one good win away from being top 10.

No need for Usyk to take it so it would leave Hunter-Martin. Yes, Hunter wins that for sure.

Martin should be better than he fights. Has power, but has bad footwork and is tentative. Needs a real trainer.

Joshua stopped him in two the first time. IF he can win an eliminator and get a rematch, much of the same will happen again.

Martin lost a close 10 round decision to Kownacki. Martin came on in the 2nd half & if it was a 12 rounder it may have had a different finish but that is just speculation on my part. He took all of Kownacki’s best punches & was still landing big punches himself. That was the first legit performance I saw of Martin. Washington isn’t no world beater but he has a few decent wins & has experience against good opposition. Martin took him out. That was his first legit win. In my opinion Martin is finally showing he wasn’t just a lottery winner with the paydays he got from Glazkov & Joshua. He is starting to show he belongs in the top 20. Hunter is a solid fighter & I would certainly look forward to that fight. I have to favour Hunter but by no means is that money in the bank. Martin has size, a good chin, some pop & he is a southpaw. That is a decent tool box to work with.

Couldn't agree with you more on every point. I thought Martin was on verge of stopping Kownacki in that fight if given those two additional rounds.

He's a big, powerful southpaw and looks to have a decent chin. I think the bright lights of the big fight put him like a deer in the headlights against AJ.

Hunter one of my favorite fighter in division (along with Del Boy). I give him the edge but it's no gimme against The Prince.

Martin vs Helenius makes sense next. Helenius just beat the guy that Martin lost to (albeit close decision) and Martin just beat the guy that Koed Helenius....this fight seems like a good crossroads fight for both.

Wouldn't want to see a rematch.
