Floyd swept early rounds and they split the rounds in the 2nd half.

Castillo was too deep in the hole to win

Floyd did the right thing by rematching him immediately. Compare that to modern fighters who get gifts in an outright robbery and duck the rematch for the rest of their career

Totally agree - I remember wanting Castillo to win so bad that after the fight, I was calling robbery. Years later after watching it back, I thought the best JLC could have hoped for was a draw. Sorry to say, they got it right on the cards.

I used to think Floyd lost the first fight, but now I'd say it was either/or, with no decisive winner. In any case, the immediate rematch was more conclusive, and I think a third fight would've played out the same as the rematch, only perhaps wider cards for Floyd

I think that's the only fight in Floyd's career where you can make a pretty damn good argument that Floyd did not win.

You have good days and bad days. But its impressive that with a torn rotatory cuff, he still put up a decent enough scrap to get a UD.

Everybody knew it, including the crowd and Mayweather.

Castillo clearly won and anyone who says otherwise has a soft spot for Floyd.

Yes, and one of the few fights I got to watch with my dad and my dad was, not pissed but disillusioned with boxing.
