Can someone tell me what makes Saunders a great opponent for canelo?

I remember Billy Joe had little faith in his own ability at top level during the build up to the Eubank fight. He even said that GGG would beat both himself and Eubank on the same night. So back then he was placing himself at a lower level than GGG, and in a sense Canelo too now... I wonder if those old doubts of his own abilities still play on his mind..

Billy Joe was British level at that time, 23 years old, barely training..... GGG was in his prime.
