the op forgets the narrative that golovkin was going to savagely ko and end canelos career if they ever met...which was spun by canelo haters and gggroupies....for a couple of years they swore that would happen and called canelo a chicken and a poosy....after the first fight they swore if canelo had balls it defintiley would happen if he didnt "run"....golovkin even publicly begged for it....and he got it...and he got tagged up and marked up good....so well that golovkins own trainer said the decision was fair

just accept reality....canelo beat him....golovkin isnt as good as hbo and his hardcore groupies made him out to be....no shame in it...hes still a very good fighter....

yeah canelo wasnt "dominant"....but when you consider what golovkin was gonna/supposed to do to him then ya......maybe next time golovkins fans should keep their mouths shut? and act respectful? i know thats not easy......but this poster is too busy writing ********** fictions talking bout how guys wanna "low key suck canelos d1ck" and stuff....

So narrative determines the winner of a fight right?

GGG couldnt knock Canelo out so he deserves to lose? Is that right?

Edit: Mayweathe Sr said Jr was losing against Pac. Was that true or do you only use what fits your agenda?

Edit again: Canelo camped at 155 as MW for 3 years. Who did he fight during this time that made him better?

You consider yourself objective huh? This might be news to you, but pretty much everyone else also thinks they're being objective..

Just about the only thing you can get a broad and realistic consensus on was that it was a close fight that wasn't dominated by either fighter but had a large number of very close rounds that could genuinely be scored either way by preference or personal taste.

Canelo landed the cleaner power shots in both fights. He did as Golovkin asked in the 2nd fight and beat him at his own game. That's why people talk about domination, if Golovkin couldn't beat that Canelo and was getting pushed back he wasn't ever going to beat him. Canelo bullied the bully.

            Bro.

Why do all of you think NARRATIVE means ANYTHING especially when considering who won a fight.

            Narrative means squat.

Sure Canelo landed some good power shots but power shots alone are not what dictate who won a fight. Literally "power shots" is something that ONLY comes up when talking about this one fight.

You talk like he outlanded GGG 100 to 1 and that's not even the case. Maybe 20 punches? That's it and that's if you beleive compubox.

GGG outlanded Canelo in BOTH fights. Are you gonna tell me now that jabs mean nothing too just to justify your bias? How many fighters win fights on their jab? A ton of fighters.

Maybe since narrative matters so much to you maybe you think Mikey Garcia should have picked up the W against Spence. Daring to be great moving up two divisions and Spence couldnt knock him out. Give him the W why dont cha.

This is the only place where the majority think Canelo not only won but dominated

In the real World the majority realizes Golovkin won both fights.

The scored cards couldn’t be like the first fight which were borderline criminal , the cards were still low-Key manipulated for the Rematch, All 3 Judges gave Canelo the first 6/8-9 rounds basically guaranteeing at least a draw and most likely a W with 3-4 rounds to still to go

Canelos 4 Butchered Scoredcards Lara / Mayweather /Golovkin 2x Moretti was the Judge in everyone

In every one of those fights Moretti gives the 12th rd to Canelo ( Determining the outcome for Lara & Golovkin 2 115-113 both times )

Gave Canelo 3 of the last 4 rounds against Maywesther

Somehow Gave Canelo 5 of the last 6 rounds against Lara giving Canelo the win 115-113

              Mayweather/Lara/Golovkin all judged the same.

1 Judge didn’t watch the fight and scored so ridiculous for Canelo looks like it was filled out before the fight 118-112/117-111/ 114-114
Second Judge ensures Canelo gets all the rounds in the 2nd half as humanly possible even if getting shalacked to steal a win (5-1 Lara ) earn a undeserved draw (4-2 Golovkin ) Or at least make the fight look close if getting shutout ( 3-3 Mayweather )

3rd Judge scores what usually would be scored a 117-113/116-112 type of fight into a razor thin 115-113 for Opponet or in the case of Mayweather a 119-109 score into a 117-111 ( Again Most being awarded in the 2nd half )

Canelo fans on here know he didn’t win but it’s easier to lie and convince yourself he deserved the W when you say he dominated instead of admitting Canelo just scrapped by a W by the thinnest of margins which for a Figjter whos never had a score go against him in his entire career should be a clear indication he lost

Anyone have any other examples of score cards like this that were dominant performances?

It's been 2 years, let it go

Canelo is fighting names in multiple weight classes since the Golovkin fight.

GGG is fighting bums like rolls, and whoever this next bum is since the Canelo fight

Canelo ended GGG career September 2018. Whether you felt Canelo lost or not, it's clear that Golovkin career has nose dived since that night

No. The judges who scored the fight determine the winner. Bumlovkin LOST. Your *****ing and moaning will never change that FACT. Get over it...
