Why is this even being discussed? Spence still hasnt been in the ring since his accident. Who knows if hes still the same. These 2 dudes had the opportunity plenty of times. At the end of the day neither one makes the decision anyway.

I wouldn't mind if pbc kept everything in house and leave Crawford on Gilligan's island(toprank). Toprank has nobody from 147 to 154 for crawford so you can expect Crawford to face low level opposition for years to come, which is why I ultimately dont check for the dude. Just uses spences name.for clout them faces whoever toprank throw in front of him. Done with the guy

Due to the crash it was clear the fight wouldn't happen soon, but the financials are another issue because Spence seemed to have a plan to build his star power first, and will likely want an easy comeback fight, then a bigger fight against a name opponent and if that sells well, make Crawford an offer. Not sure what Crawford plans in the meantime, any legit info on who either of them face next?

I don’t think you need big cash for Co-promotion unless the fighter’s are asking for more than they can pull. The issue is obviously not the money here, Crawford is a risk, and Haymon already doesn’t like to risk his fighters, let alone his potential cash-cow. With ESPN and PBC it will boost the sales like it did with Fury vs Wilder and I think this fight can do as much or more to be honest.
