lol, Wilder, Ortiz, Kownacki, Ruiz... all coming off losses.

Will be interesting, will they start fighting each other? or will Ruiz, Kownacki and others be saved from more losses in order to be fed to Wilder for easy KOs in order to start rebuilding his hyped name.

Why not the undefeated Frank Sanchez or the 19-1-1 Robert Alfonso, both originally from Cuba? Alfonso has an amateur win over Ortiz.

Ironically all three of the top Cuban heavyweights are 6'4" even.

This dude is so frustrating honestly, with the exception of the Jennings fight, he's literally done nothing at all. He claims to be this avoided fighter, but the fighters he accuses of avoiding him, all have infinitely better resumes than he does. Maybe he/his management team is the problem. It can't always be everyone else's fault, or at least very rarely.

"Any other promoter in the world would give up, as Oscar de la Hoya did, who gave up [on Ortiz]. But Al Haymon doesn't throw in the towel and I don't think he'll stop believing in Luis. I'm sure he'll put good fights in front of Luis."

I thought everyone on PBC got the memo that they shouldn't be mentioning Haymon and promoter in the same sentence lol

Haymon (or whoever gets Ortiz his opportunities) isn't trying hard enough IMO. Ortiz is either fighting Wilder or lower-tiered opponents, his recent resume is lacking depth. Other than Wilder and Hammer, Ortiz has faced nobody in BoxRec's current top 30 (yes, I know BoxRec isn't perfect). The good thing is that they are trying to keep him busy, and I don't see how they can fail when you have numerous HWs under the PBC banner. Martin, Washington, and Breazeale are free. Rivas has a showcase fight lined up on 3/28, so he'll probably be available as well. FIND SOMEONE!

Put him in with Joseph Parker on the usyk/chisora card.

Both winners can then face off while fast Eddie chases fury for the big unification match.

The narrative that he cant find an opponent is laughable. Still trying the fake boogeyman thing, let PBC/Haymon put him in with their HW, they have enough in that stable alone. If not then start sending non-low ball offers to other promoters for their HW fighters.

No one worth note is avoiding him, he has terrible manager/advisers guiding his career, the fake boogeyman thing is out of the window now, he needs to get in actual tough fights for people to gauge how good he really is/was.

Has someone already mentioned they have Breazeale who is free, washington etc This is a guy that should be returning in May/June after his KO loss in November.
