Floyd saw Canelo's weaknesses to movement in that fight, and got to Canelo before ginger could get more experience and reach his PRIME

yeah, for all the past prime fighters Floyd fought, here he fought someone who hadn't reached his prime yet

he also weight drained the ginger for good measure, which is just disgraceful. Canelo couldn't even make 154 at the time, much less a bull**** cw of 152. dude looked like a sluggish zombie, worst version of Canelo ever. just like he fought the worst version of JMM ever.

The same Floyd that fought Canelo would never dare to fight current PRIME, non weight drained Canelo, because he'd lose

you floyd fans are delusional fanboys of the highest order

So at what age was Canelo not green anymore? Whatever age you say add 14 years and that's Floyd age.

So if Canelo is prime at 26, that makes Floyd 40.

Or you prefer 29 year old Canelo vs 43 year old floyd?

Now it's a fair fight right?

No version of Canelo can beat the Floyd that showed up in September of 2013. Too slow

I was impressed that he stopped Hatton. That check hook and the finish was briliant.

I thought Floyd was excellent, and Hatton was a legit elite fighter at the the time. However it was a stylistically favourable matchup for Mayweather.

I’d say it was a very good win but not a great win.

            - -A non turning blue on the scales at 152 was obviously a threat to TUE 51-0, hence the catchweight.

And fairly infirm Cortez riding Canelo back early in the fight just like he did against Hatton and Maidana when he fought Khan served to take the fighters out of getting into the fights until it was too late.

What grade were U in back then?

You didn't answer not 1 question that I asked. At what age is Canelo not green anymore? If 22 was to young to fight Floyd. What age isn't too young?

I guess Tyson was to green when he fought Holmes
I guess Oscar was to green when he fought Chavez sr
I guess Floyd was to green when he fought Hernandez.

Saying a 22 year old shouldn't be fighting a 36 year old is laughable. The 22 year old is gonna be favorited in that scenario 9/10

And if you think the referee had any impact on canelo vs Floyd. Its nothing left for us to talk about. Ydksab

And to answer your question. I was 28 years old the night Floyd spanked alvarez

I agree with this. People acting like Canelo was 18 years old.

                  I’ll say 6.5/10

                  Nice win.

I'm not a big Floyd fan, but the fight against Hatton impressed me the most. Ricky came in with the intention of manhandling Mayweather, but Floyd did something that he did less as he got older; HE FOUGHT.
