That's a longshot of a match-up at the moment, but if Deontay remains vulnerable to fighters moving forward, Dubois could have an edge there.

Hard to call until I see dubois vs joyce . However if he is the goods like I think , I would pick dubois if wilder doesnt catch him . His style is all wrong for wilder . He is strong and will **** on the inside and it's quite simple . Wilder cannot fight on the inside . And iam not just hating on wilder i would still pick him to beat most heavyweights atm .

Out of the top guys Joshua and whyte have the styles to wreck wilder ( assuming joshua fights his usual style if he fights like he did in ruiz 2 he gets stretched ).

By the time the fight would happen it would favour Dubois. There is no benefit to fighting wilder at this moment, he has no belt and as he just lost he wouldn’t get the same credit.

At the same time Dubois is still learning and has yet to fight anyone top 20-30 level.

If he is sensible then after Joyce he takes a few lower end top20 opponents like Molina or Washington, before moving into some of the gatekeepers such as a Chisora or Takam. Only then does it make sense to take on a wilder,fury or Joshua.
