Robert Helenius (30-3, 19 KOs) scored an upset victory over previously unbeaten Adam Kownacki (20-1, 15 KOs) by stopping him in the fourth round of a WBA Heavyweight Title Eliminator headlining FOX PBC Fight Night and on FOX Deportes Saturday night from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Instead of losing (or not!) to AJ for $7M he opted to lose against Hilarius for peanuts.

    Thanks, Al.

That you get knocked out by Robert Helenius tells everything we need to know, Adam.

A poor choice of opponents I thought when they made the fight. Kownacki’s style is to walk through fire continually throwing punches. Kownacki has a good chin, good enough to take a pretty good shot from most fighters but Helenius, despite his defensive shortcomings has much better than average power.

Seems like a nice kid, I wish he could have gotten a little further and made some serious money before the inevitable happened.

He looked terrible. It’s like he didn’t even train. This trend of fat, overweight, sloppy heavyweights needs to stop. I’m sick of seeing it. It’s laziness. And I get it, not everyone’s going to have bodies like Joshua or Wilder but look at fury, he’s not a body beautiful type b it you can tell he trains hard, eats right, doesn’t face first box, can go 12 no problem.....guys like Ruiz and Kownacki, get in shape and stay in shape. Do some fekkin roadwork, get a dietician, and get into actual athletic shape of a world class athlete

Nah, Kownacki looked like he always looks. Roadwork isn’t going to improve his defense, chin or power. Going 12 rounds isn’t Kownacki’s issue at all, he’ll outpace most anyone you put in the ring with him.

Dude you struggled with Chris Arreola and made an excuse about that. And now you got took out in 4 by a guy who is barely a step above a gatekeeper. You just believed your own hype. Not to mention you thought you could do the same thing to Wilder that Fury did..... That didn't age well lol
