Under normal circumstances, it'd be easy to say that had Smith not looked terrible in his last fight, he'd be in a better position to negotiate his worth vs Canelo, but then again, had he knocked Ryder out in impressive fashion, do we think he ever would've been an option that team Canelo would've considered in the first place?

How so?? GGG looked GREAT against Vanes and even iced him in record time.

After Smith lost to Ryder and got a gift decision, I don't want to see him against Canelo. Smith would have a tough time against Benavidez and Plant, and would be comfortably beaten by Canelo.

Accept the offer, beat him, automatic rematch, more money. You knew he doesn’t want to fight you right? Then you get an official offer from him, then accept that offer and call his bluff, see if he goes through with it or still doesn’t.

If I view myself as a risk to A-side opponents then I wouldn’t put myself worth in front of any negotiations, Vivian Harris reject 300k from Hatton, then fought Carlos Maussa for 30k, JMM reject a good offer from Pacman and went on to fight Chris John, Yesterday Kownacki reject 5m and fought Helenius. Wilder turned down 100/120m and half of that in 3 fights...

Hopefully Smith doesn’t caught a loss to Ryder next

I’m so glad this thieving scouser didn’t get the canelo payday. I just hope BJS isn’t in the same crooked gang that cooked up the Ryder scores.

I’m surprised Canelo didn’t pick Smith after seeing how he struggled vs Ryder though

Canelo can't fight both of them.
... of course he can't -- that's why he's fighting the smaller and the lesser one, right?...

if Canelo knocks him out will that be a "Lucky Punch" or is Saunders just a BUM and was hand pick???

                  And yes you do!

Iv'e always wanted to know. Who is more popular over there? Smith or Saunders??? I know in the States Saunders is known but Smith isn't.

At least the weigh-in and tours if they do it will be fun to watch! Can you imagine Saunders son going up and trying to kick and punch Canelo in the nutz???

Canelo would probably slap the lil kid and send him crying to daddy.

I hope Saunders talks mad sht!!! That Kovalov/Canelo was too nice. I want Saunders to get Canelo REALLY mad. I can see Canelo by TKO
