I think Hughie would survive. It'd b a brutal ko, but he'd make it thru. It's Wilder's best chance at beating a fury tho. I mean....Lara lost to canelo then beat the ever loving shyt outta his brother, so it's not like it's unprecedented.

Mix up, mate. The first fight, whilst competitive was an easy 117-111 Fury. You'll be thinking of the John Mcdermott fight which I scored 96-94 Fury, though at the time I wasn't really a fan of Fury then, it could have went either way, the commentary was biased toward Mcdermott. Fury was around 20 at this stage and no more than at best a top 30-40 HW in the world, just young, raw and not fighting to his strengths. He won the rematch by KO, and even then, he was no more than 20% of what he is now.

On Hughie, I'd take him to beat Price, I understand Rexy's thinking, but it's a fight I'd like to see. I have a feeling they'll throw Hughie in with Dave Allen next, which will keep momentum and be a guaranteed win as Allen doesn't have enough power to hurt someone with a proven defence and chin in Hughie.

I'm sorry.... I just think you are wrong by a massive margin. Fringe-world to British is a big gap....... Price can't hang with the guys Hughie fought.
It’s a fair assessment, he is above British title level, I’d say he’s more Euro level. He is durable, which is one asset.

I think Hughie Fury is better than Helenius, Washington, Martin, Breazeale, Kownacki. Prove me wrong?

For the first time in a while - Hughie Fury actually fought worse opposition than Tyson Fury. Normally it's the other way round.

Just watched the fight...Fury looked improved and more aggressive...but I said the same thing when he fought Peter, then he went back to his old ways against Povetkin.

He could be but he looked pretty bad in some of his bigger fights. He seems elusive enough but he never really unloads his punches.

We are never going to know how good he is until he fights someone of a simalar standard to Martin, Breazeale etc. Povetkin, Pulev, Parker are all slightly above that
