Fury’s illegal glove gives him 3-4 inches of reach and Bare-knuckle left hooks.......

hmm...I wonder why a professional boxer with 12 years experience would throw a punch like this? It probably does not matter considering he made a convincing impression on the judges, it looked legit in real time -- made it seem that he was whooping Deontay.
The Three Stooges of SHOWTIME : Hater Paulie Malignaggi, Part-time WWE commentator the Bipolar Mauro Ranallo, and the senile Al Bernstein gave Tyson full credit for these illegal strikes during the live telecast of Wilder-Fury I.
You would think that being the 'experts' they are, that at least one of them would tell the public that these slapping palm strikes do not count as clean-punches. But Paulie told us that this was a masterclass, what do I know?!

No boxer will sacrifice their jab and left hook for a slap.
Do you even think about what you're suggesting? Seriously, have you considered how ridiculous it is to suggest he'd rather lose the power of both his jab and hook just so he could throw a harder slap? This really seems reasonable to you?Comment

hahahahha i see what you did there
People keep linking the floppy glove from the first fight and talking about his left hand...but it was his right hand that literally did all the damage and it was in the second fight. You can see it connect with the face of the glove, so it still shattered his equilibrium through the padding of the glove.Comment

I haven't heard the audio from the Fury vs Helenius fight but I thought the ref was pointing to the fact the thumb section wasn't stitched to the rest of the glove? At least he pointed to the thumb. But even so, I don't see how being able to take your fingers out of the face of the glove even offers any advantages in a jab hand? All of his power is in his right, so why would they tamper with his weakest hand? It makes even less sense explaining itComment

1st clip when the left hits Wilder's face it doesn't bend back. If the top was empty it would bend backwards on impact.
2nd clip after the follow through with the punch his left hand hits his own chest. If there was nothing in the top part it would bend and crumple due to no support in that area. The other part that kills that clip is that when it rests by his left side it is in the clenched position. If there were no fingers at the top that is impossible.Comment

Those 2 clips you have shown actually prove his hands were at the top of the gloves.

If you're boxing, a knuckle through the glove does more damage than any kind of slap. Not rocket science!
No boxer will sacrifice their jab and left hook for a slap.

I don’t live inside Fury’s glove I don’t know how he did what he did. All I know is that he had an illegal looking left glove in three different fights. He cheated, period.Comment
