Canelo is clearly the face of boxing right now but I don’t see any mega fights in this division. He’s going to stop Saunders in 8. Maybe Benavides would be more attractive. It’s exciting to see him go up in weight classes ,perhaps even in the light weight division but the clear super fights are in the welterweights right now. .Can you just imagine a stadium fight against Spence Jr or Crawford.

Right. In the history of boxing precedent this definitely “not a bad fight” for sure. Imagine if Canelo fought one of those four other fighters GBP supposedly had waiting in the wings? Lol I wasent going to be surprised if Nelo just skipped the date completely. I’m glad the fight is made and it’s most likely the guy most wanted out of who was mentioned.

If Saunders is settled at the weight and on his game he is the fighter in the world most likely to give Canelo an absolute boxing lesson for 12 rounds to the point that even the judges cant hand Canelo a gift.
He is more than capable of doing what Fury does at the higher weights and also like the big lump seems to raise his game for better opposition, but unlike Fury BJS also has a rock solid chin.
I am not saying how it will go, but anyone who thinks a man who can box like Saunders doesnt have a chance could be in for a real shock.
