From what I've seen of Fa, he's a big rugged guy but he's lumbering and slow. I imagine he takes a decent punch but it's hard to really tell because he hasn't fought anyone remotely competitive. The biggest name on his ledger is ancient Dominick Guinn, whom he fought last year. I imagine there's a reason he's been moved at a snail's pace. Maybe he and his team are ready to cash out.

I'd favor Parker to win the fight, he's the more explosive and athletic of the two. They may have split their fights in the amateur ranks but the pros are different.

I imagine it would be a big fight in New Zealand and if Parker can't get a matchup that will advance him in the rankings of sanctioning bodies it's better than another stay busy fight.

There was an interview on youtube where Kevin Barry & Parker both said he was a step backwards & that Fa needed a few names on his resume before they would fight him. They pretty much said they were done talking about FA as an opponent. Parker was fighting for world titles & Fa was fighting cans. I'm not sure if that 500000 was really offered but who knows? Maybe that is why they disregarded him?

          Nice...

Isn’t Tanaka moving up as his mandatory though, hopefully it’s a scenario where the unification supersedes the mandatory.

It’s very rare to see two 4 weight champions face one and other.
