There is zero chance it happens this year Golden Boy and Ryan Garcia have already laid out the plans for his next 3 fights and Haney isn't involved. This is what happens when a American fighter signs with a UK promoter who doesn't have options for that fighter in America. If Haney is the champ he should be having fighters call him out not call out a prospect. Like Ryan said I must be the real champ if you have a belt but have to call me out to fight. Haney has to do that to try and get in the mix for fights his promoter can't get him. He called out Loma and Teo and Arum bragged publicly I already told Haney sorry you signed with the wrong promoter that's why you are not getting a Loma fight. Haney can't get PBC fighters Tank has small fighters they can keep dragging up in the PBC universe and if he's going to work with another network it would be to fight a bigger star like Ryan or Loma not for Haney who doesn't bring the money to make it worth it.

Yeah I agree, Hearn has little options at 135, Haney’s only hope is that Campbell beats Fortuna and they could maybe do Haney-Campbell as a sh**ty PPV over here. Hopefully Haney isn’t tied to Hearn/DAZN for too long and he can go and fight the top guys at 135/140 elsewhere.

I'd be surprised if they make this fight in 2020 or even in 2021. Both guys are young and still developing. Surely they'll wanna milk this one for good reason. It CAN be a super fight in 3-5 years.

Exactly. Mark my words Haney will be at 140 by end of this year. He is in no mans land not a star that moves the needle and no fights that can get him to that level at 135 and he can't wait has a ticking body that is forcing him to move up to 140 very soon. Teo is being rushed as well because he struggles to make 135 so it's now or never to fight Loma before he has to fight at 140. Ryan just got to 135 has no rush makes weight easy he will be at 135 for a couple years. By the time he has to move up to 140 who knows if Haney is at 147 by then. lol This fight happens years from now probably at 147 when both are stars and it's a real super fight or best case 2-3 years from now at 140. In the meantime all the big name fighters at 135 and 140 are on other networks bad for Haney.

Becuase 9 times out of ten the star is the better fighter it's common sense, they're usually the star for a reason.

Lol... Must be 6 out of 10 times because we never get to see them fight the #1,#2,#3 or #4. Guys like Canelo and AJ are getting stale fighting nobodies and has beens. One just got upset badly by #8 seed.

Hearn risks his biggers fighters anyway Hooker, Farmer, Jacobs, Whyte, Kelly, Estrada, SSR, GGG etc..... Only one of these guys is a star. That is GGG and he hasn’t taken any risks. Obviously the judging was rigged for GGG to even get his hand raised against Derevyanchenko. Too much invested in GGG and Canelo. If anyone knocked one of them out they would probably disqualify them for landing a solid punch.

Hell even AJ as a 17 fight novice, Hearns golden boy, fought Klitschko in a 50-50 once upon a time. Lol...Please stop digging in the crates. Well where are those fights Mr. Big Bucks? Is it that we all were clamoring to see Canelo vs Murato, Canelo vs Fielding, GGG vs Rolls, AJ vs Pulev, Whyte vs Povetkin and GGG vs next ****ing guy they can dig up for a sure win.

They should have never paid these fighters these infinite paydays equal to there best match ups. Now they have no room to pay the opposition for the “massive,” show.

With founders the Apple always falls massively far from the tree. Hearn is such a great business man he paid for the fighters name and not the best match ups.

This fight needs a little more time to get some serious interest. Maybe Haney needs to go and fight the Lopez vs Loma winner, I would mention Tank but I doubt Mayweather let's him fight anyone who poses any kind of danger.

If Whyte is 50/50 with today’s Povetkin it’s because he just not that good.

I would expect any top heavyweight to go in on this version of Povetkin. I think AJ beat the last bit of greatness from this once remarkable fighter.
