Not a "super fight" per se but a very interesting match of prospects. Whoever wins has probably legitimized himself and would be worthy of a shot at the winner of Lomachenko-Lopez.

I like this matchup, it would definitely ask questions of both and both could benefit from each other IMO.

Matter fact the real super fight in the near future that Ryan wants and fans is Gervonta Davis. That fight does more money then Haney who isn't a bigger name or seen as a true champ yet like Davis. Ryan despite not having a belt yet is in the drivers seat and has a lot of options in 2020 and beyond. I understand why Haney and Hearn are pressuring for this fight now because Hearn can't get Haney any relevant fights at 135 and the clock is ticking because he struggles to make 135 and really probably has to move up to 140 by end of this year. But Ryan just moved up to 135 says he only gains 5lbs on fight night. Look all these guys at 135 have big fights booked for 2020 Loma and Teo fighting, Ryan fighting Linares, Tank fighting Leo Santa Cruz. The man left out in the cold is Haney. Hearn can't get him a fight fans want to see that's why they begging a prospect like Ryan to rush and fight him this year when Golden Boy already has him lined up with a fight now and will have no problems getting him big fights in the future he's draw and popular fighter that everyone will want to fight.

There is zero chance it happens this year Golden Boy and Ryan Garcia have already laid out the plans for his next 3 fights and Haney isn't involved. This is what happens when a American fighter signs with a UK promoter who doesn't have options for that fighter in America. If Haney is the champ he should be having fighters call him out not call out a prospect. Like Ryan said I must be the real champ if you have a belt but have to call me out to fight. Haney has to do that to try and get in the mix for fights his promoter can't get him. He called out Loma and Teo and Arum bragged publicly I already told Haney sorry you signed with the wrong promoter that's why you are not getting a Loma fight. Haney can't get PBC fighters Tank has small fighters they can keep dragging up in the PBC universe and if he's going to work with another network it would be to fight a bigger star like Ryan or Loma not for Haney who doesn't bring the money to make it worth it.
