Tyson is about ending long reigns. Admit it you cried when Wilder went down. Get use to it because there is only one king and that's the Gypsy King. Took Wilder's 0 and his soul. Hell he even broke you too lol

Reign by beating bums like Szpilka, Duhaupas and old fellows like Arreola, Stiverne, Ortiz, means nothing.

Whyte and Wilder have the same legacy. If it is a legacy. Whyte -Wilder can fight for WBC silver belt

I'd love for Fury to beat Wilder again then unify vs AJ & walk away, BUT I don't foresee that happening. In the likelihood he did retire I suspect it'd be about when he comes back than if he would.

Don't think Fury is invincible bc tomorrow he can get slapped by Wallin or a random bum who have an average boxing skills.

Yeah I keep saying Fury will hope to beat Joshua once and then just retire to avoid the rematch. Guy is way too predictable. His whole career has been a lot of low-risk fights - unless it's for a belt.

Hope Wilder wins the 3rd fight, Fury is just wasting our time

Well, if he beats Joshua convincingly then theres no point in a rematch is there? We then know who the best HW on the planet is. Once he beats Joshua, he gets all his belts back...perfect time to retire.

While I would love to see Fury continue to box for a while, I completely understand his choice if he retires.

Not everyone wants to join the rat race of more money and fame, particularly when you have enough to last you a lifetime with a lot to spare. It is easy to be a fan but damn difficult to get up in the morning for a rigorous exercise, and boxing gym to get hit by huge guys. To risk your health and life every time you enter the ring and not be able to enjoy a relaxed life and enjoy the money you gained.

Fury will still be able to maintain a profile (if he stays motivated) by spending quality time with friends and family, go for trips, camping, and enjoy the little things in life. Come back to limelight every now and then for some commentary, exhibition matches, etc. while making tons of money. Give lectures and go to social events, dinners, fund-raisers, etc. Join a gym and train others if he wills...particularly for shorter durations. In short, an easier life without the pressure with more time and freedom to enjoy.

He's got a WWE contract waiting for him, and he's now a massive celebrity, he won't be short of work.

I personally wouldn’t want him to retire after two fights, I think he has a lot to give still. He is still 31, hasn’t taken any sort of punishment and he was out for almost 3 years from not boxing, just like how I didn’t want Haye to retire if he beats Wlad I wouldn’t want Fury to retire too. As much as he is the clear number 1, we also have to see him get up and deal with challengers who might have more hunger than him, the same way Wladimir had to deal with him is the same way I want to see him deal with challengers, and when I say challengers I don’t mean Wilder or Joshua.

He needs to mix it up with his resume, now that he is the man. The pressure is different and he has something to prove in that terms, the last time he became the man he didn’t deal with the pressure and went off the rails. Hopefully that would be the challenge for him right now.

Am not saying stay around for 5/6 years but give others a chance and add to your resume, obviously younger guys would always keep coming up, and you come to a point where you would be like “That’s it”.... Just like Lewis did after Vitali, just like Joe calzaghe said instead of fighting Froch etc

But Fury needs to add to his resume. At the moment he has 3 names that stands out and it would be nice to get another 3/4 fighters on it. Those who are hungrier. That proves a lot especially when you are at the top of the tree..

If you are Tyson Fury - there is no point because he might lose the rematch. If he was def going to win - why turn down the money for the rematch?

And holding 1 win over Wilder and 1 over Joshua doesn't make anyone the best fighter on the planet. Ruiz currently holds a convincing win over Joshua.... Who's to say he couldn't get one over Wilder?

And neither Wilder and AJ are fully proven yet
