Regardless of all these opinions, Canelo vs GGG happened when their narrative was hot from 2015-2017.

GGG vs Ward (2011-2017) never happened.
    Mayweather vs Pacquiao (2009-2015).
    Crawford vs Spence (2017-continuing)
    Wilder vs AJ flop-still happening?

    WAR CANELO

Golovkin hasn't done shit since the Canelo fight. Besides rob Derevyanchenko.

He's just been sitting around waiting for another Canelo payday to just fall into his lap.

It’s a good thing fans are seeing this. But on the bright side, as Canelo stated last year, if DAZN truly wants it, they’d have to OFFER another lucrative stipend (Bonus). That’s at least good for Canelo’s part, and Canelo has fought in 3 classes already on DAZN. He is the most humble of those contracted. With GGG, I think DAZN realized their mistake. At this rate I think they’re not satisfied with GGG’s deal, and I wouldnt be surprised that whatever GGG gets with the Canelo fight, DAZN will tell him and Loeffler how the endgame will play out with a revised contract. The value has to be absolutely awkward in having GGG.

The only way GGG can redeem himself with value and skepticism is he has to SPEAK more to want smoke at 168. That’s just part of the game. If GGG were to become a unified Champ at 168, as I said he could had he signed with PBC, then imo all should be forgiven. Plus, I give GGG benefit of doubt to show up at a higher weight since he was able to handle a big Jacobs.

With all this said, the whole Canelo hold up dates have been a mess as well. At this rate I dont care who he fights. He needs to stay busy and not have any dates moved like before. Surely DAZN is helping facilitate that. IMHO, Heard is hella suspect considering how many fighters he has to go against GBP-Canelo yet ALL HIS fighters aren’t vocal except for Andrade. And tbh, Andrade is at 160. His ass should be at 168 already. Be a 3 Division champ. Problem with boxing is we as fans age too and all this stalling gets boring.

Billy is way too elusive to be KO'd and Canelo has too much of a skill and chin to be KO'd by Billy's soft fists. But because Canelo is 118-110, still in his prime, DAZN's hope to survive + his skills, I'd say a unanimous decision for Canelo. Close-shmose.

I'll read the headlines on this site once the fight is over to confirm my prediction.
Billy joe would have to do to canelo what he did to lemieux and that ain't happening.
Should be a good fight though, bj raises his game for the big fights but a canelo decision is the obvious bet

I suggest you read the article.
                Canelo fights on DAZN.
Skipper ( one of the execs at DAZN ) personally went to meet with Canelo to offer him this 3 fight package with an incentive of more money.
Andrade also fights on DAZN and wasn't included in the deal that DAZN proposed.
Charlo isn't with DAZN but was still offered the fight and passed a year ago. Why would DAZN include a non DAZN fighter in their offer to Canelo if Charlo has balked at fighting Canelo And Andrade already ?

Even though I thought Derev won. Only watched the fight once. Golovkin didn't rob anyone. The same way Canelo didn't rob Golovkin even though he lost the rematch IMO. The Vegas machine backed by their wholly owned subsiduary the NSAC did the dirty deed. All the fighters involved gave it all they had in the ring. Give the fighters credit for that at least instead of looking to point the finger at your favorite target.

Canelo vs Andrade at 154 and at 160.
Canelo vs either of the Charlo's at 154 and again at 160.

Good examples you gave. Just adding in a few more.

Because it's about recouping the money they wasted on Canelo's contract.
