This is perfect. Canelo will finally knock out a way past prime old man GGG and he and his fans and Oscar can cum in their pants gloat about a meaningless Victory and GGG can get that undeserved bag of money and finally fawking retire and this Bull sh it trilogy can finally end thank gawd

In an ideal world, the first fight would have happened on Cinco De Mayo in 2016 (I would say 2015 but Canelo fought Cotto later that year so can't fault him for that)

GGG destroyed Dominic Wade and Canelo nearly decapitated Amir Khan that year, and they should have been facing each other instead. Golovkin would have been a year younger (this was before he looked vulnerable against Kell Brook) and the trilogy would have been over with a long time ago.
This sounds about right. Canelo was a diva then all of a sudden mr this is boxing turned into a diva too and all of a sudden he is mr business man. Time to move on I’m done with these two

Happening September most likely and the HATE will really pour in for Canelo when he makes him come to 168

When you make the money he does and have the backing and following that he does you kinda can do WTF you want when you want

Get the fight done.
You aren't alone on this. I made a post some time last year on this, touching on how the disparity in physical condition between the two isn't nearly as vast as some want to think despite the age difference, owing to their different pro trajectories. Sure, the time frame does take away some luster and Golovkin's showing against Derevyanchenko gives obvious pause, but one has to account for the possibility of a bad night compounded by style and a very game Derev (who is equipped to give the whole division a ****ty night), not just Golovkin finally falling off a cliff overnight. Acting like a part 3 is devoid of any value even now (not 2022) is insanity to me. You would think its potential to be highly illuminating in that regard (GGG's true status) would bolster the mystique of another trip to the well if anything, but hey NSB, where the inmates have taken the asylum by mutiny.

Canelo does not want another Golovkin fight, DAZN wants that fight and is spending many more millions to make it happen. The question is why this pathological obsession with a 3rd Golovkin fight?

I agree. This is a great fight still, and we need to get some closure on Canelo/ Golovkin.

Canelo is guaranteed base 35M from DAZN no matter who he fights. My guess is DAZN will put something together where Canelo's guaranteed jumps from 35M to probably 50M to fight GGG. That was always the only path I see for why Canelo would fight GGG he doesn't want GGG to get paid off his back anymore and you will need to sweeten his pot to get him onboard.
Yeah DAZN shot themselves in the foot signing Canelo for way too much money. They then compounded it by not having a clause in the contract that he has to fight Golovkin. To top it off when they signed him Canelo already had a reputation of being difficult to deal with after he backstabbed the WBC and Golovkin by refusing to fight Golovkin as they agreed on.
