Weight bullies is a term IMO NSB posters use when they are upset that a guy they don't like is able to campaign at a weight class and dominate. It's actually embarrassing that a site that is aimed toward diehard boxing fans actually takes issues with fighters that make weight.
Weight bully is a term that has been around long before NSB.

Truth is, there is a reason we have weight classes. If a fighter can blow up to a significant weight advantage on the day of the fight, opponents can get hurt. Joey Gamache ring a bell?

When you have fighters willingly admit they will blow up as big as they can for a fight, there needs to be some form of prevention so they remain within a certain parameter.

“I climb into the ring at whatever weight that’s going to give me the win, whether its 180 or 190 lbs, if I think it’s the appropriate (weight) for me on the day of the fight” Canelo told Boxing Scene.

I don't know how anyone could watch the career of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr at middleweight and deny the existence of weight bullies in boxing.

With the early weigh ins you have fighters who's biggest skill is cutting weight to have a size advantage. There are champions who would never have a belt if we still had same day weigh ins..

Nah, if you make the limit on the scale its fair play.

I remember when people were saying Paul Williams was cheating by being tall at welter lolz.

            I agree.

I guess it can be up for debate for some, that 1 guy in the same weight division as another might be naturally bigger. Thus making it easier to naturally pack on more pounds when rehydrating.

But at the end of the day I feel when two fighters make weight, that makes any debate irrelevant.

Spence has been called a weight bully and he seems to comfortably make 147 during the weigh ins. He doesn't look all sick either, look at the Porter fight.

There are currently no weight bullies in boxing; Especially in the lower weight divisions because of fighter safety. They simply just cut that shit out. However, the biggest weight bully in the sport of boxing today is Tyson Fury. On fight night, I bet you damn near outweighed Deontay Wilder by at least some 60 or more odd pounds.

He was also using illegal duretics to make weight. Goes against the argument that he could make weight lol

Mayweather fighting that last guy wasn’t weight bullying. That was the p4p best man throwing down. Can’t be beat. Can’t be stopped. GOAT.

Here is him blaming his Porter performance on weight loss/weight drain.
I think Spence might be done at the weight after his accident. I said 2 years ago he'd start struggling when he started pushing 30 and he is not fighting reguary and maintaining a decent weight nowadays by the looks o things.
