      Floyd has a terrible resume.
      Are you mentally disabled?

Other fighters already raked them through the coals before Floyd fought them imo.
Floyd definitely backed out of a fight with Winky Wright, to answer your question of what slick guy Floyd ducked, Keith Thurman called him out, and his convenient little vacations meant he avoided Prime Cotto, Prime Paul Williams, fought Carlos Baldymir instead of Margarito for the same 8 million. Marquez a lightweight slow, flat footed, short armed guy that he still welched on the scales. Just face it. It's plenty of justification to say Floyd was low to no risk.
Marquez slow and flat footed?? GTFOH... Have you ever watched a Marquez fight?

So you’re complaining about him fighting slow, flat footed fighters yet listed Margarito as someone you wanted him to fight. Cause that’s not contradictory.😂😂

So a guy who started at 130 ducked a career light middleweight. Ok buddy...😂

He fought Cotto when Miguel was 32 and was the #1 guy at 154. Yeah he was way past his prime.😂

The classic Paul Williams shout, knew that one was coming.😂

And yeah the fear of fighting the all mighty Keith Thurman probably sent him into retirement. Jesus Christ that’s a new one...

I was wrong about one thing though, you definitely are a hater... there’s plenty of legit things to hate Floyd for like beating the mother of his children, being an egomaniac etc... but his boxing career was exceptional, trying to say a guy who consistently fought the best ducked this guy and ducked that guy is just pathetic.

If Floyd fought low risk opposition, how come he has one of the best resumes in modern history???

Whether you like him or not he fought and beat the very best of his era. JUST GET OVER IT...

Oh and Chop Chop, Zab Judah, Cotto and Canelo are all quick footed slick boxers ...Cotto was recognized as the best at 154 when they fought...Canelo was a unified Champion and Rated 2nd on the P4P list sooooo what’s the problem?

            Floyd’s resume is AWFUL.

            Baldomir
            Guerrero
            Ortiz
            Berto
            Tenshin
            Mcgregor

            Lmao that’s his resume. Horrendous.

[QUOTE=RJJ-94-02=GOAT;20441335]Marquez slow and flat footed?? GTFOH... Have you ever watched a Marquez fight?

I wouldn't call Marquez, Hector Camacho fast, even at his best. I can tell the difference between the lightweight version of Marquez, and the version that Floyd dragged up two weight classes to welch on the scales who was even slower and flatter. He was already a shorter guy with a shorter reach. How many more advantages did Floyd need? Pillow gloves too?

So you’re complaining about him fighting slow, flat footed fighters yet listed Margarito as someone you wanted him to fight. Cause that’s not contradictory.

Don't forget with no reach, and Floyd fought an even, slower, even more flat footed guy in Carlos Baldymir instead of Margarito (who he backed out of fighting) for the same paycheck, in an absolute stinker of a fight where the crowd walked out way before the the fight was over, what are you talking about. Margarito, literally was stalking Floyd for a fight but oops time for Floyd to go on a two year vacation.

So a guy who started at 130 ducked a career light middleweight. Ok buddy...

Use whatever excuse that makes you sleep good, but the facts are he called Winky Wright out, they drew up contracts and whole nine, and Floyd backed out of the fight. Why go through all that just to back down. That's a consensus duck right there.

He fought Cotto when Miguel was 32 and was the #1 guy at 154. Yeah he was way past his prime.

It was a decent win no more no less. A prime, undefeated Cotto called Floyd out after Cotto beat Shane Mosley but oops, Floyd had to go on two year vacation and pop back up when Cotto had been good and ravaged by Margarito and Manny already.

The classic Paul Williams shout, knew that one was coming.

Yes because its really nothing you can say. Prime Williams, Prime Cotto, Margarito. They were all in the ww division the same time Floyd was but oops, Floyd had to go on vacation (see Larry and Dunn for the official Floyd Boy excuse)
Oh yeah Paul Williams called Floyd out but oops, Floyd had to go on two year vacation. When he resurfaced the coast was clear, Williams moved up to 160 and the excuse would be that little Floyd would be too small now. I've definitely seen that excuse used by the Floyd Boys here when it comes to fighting at 160. See the pattern?

And yeah the fear of fighting the all mighty Keith Thurman probably sent him into retirement. Jesus Christ that’s a new one...

So, in what world is fighting a raked thru the coals, shopworn fighter like Andre Berto, better than fighting a prime, undefeated, mandatory fighter to your title like Keith Thurman was. I will wait on that answer, er, I mean excuse. You might want to consult with Dunn and Larry before you try to answer that one.

Don't get mad at me because I like giving my opinion on these types of threads. I damn sure don't come up with them, and had he fought and beat the best guys on his resume in their prime, and not fought so many low risk fighters whose style is tailor made to his, then there would be fewer threads like this that question his career choices and there would be far less room for scrutiny. Its no coincidence that Floyd is the only guy they do this kind of thing with.

I’m done debating with someone who’s evidently blinded by hatred.

He deservedly retired undefeated and beat the very best of his era. Get over it...

It was one of the worst fights that could be made a that time. Nobody was asking for it and floyd would’ve washed Alexander.

He himself announced it on twitter knowing how the public would react to how ugly the fight is, then he chose guerrero.. and fans were “okay, lets settle for that instead”
Nobody was asking for guerrero fight too.
