I think it's incredible that he's at 118 and is as good as he is at his age. He hasn't taken much damage in his career so unless his legs give out, he should still have some good fights left. Donaire did serious damage to Inoue including breaking his orbital bone so I don't think Donaire would be any kind of walk in the park.

That power did not put Donaire down, so he is not the most powerful but he has decent power.

That hand hit all air despite having a large target in Loma, its safe to say that Loma is the more skilled fighter.

Yes I agree Donut Aire would be a very competitive fight, maybe even moreso than their first one.

Fair enough. But do you remember donaire out weighting Rigondeaux by quite a few pounds? Still he was in real pain every time the Cuban hit him. And running from him because he couldn't take it anymore. How many times do you hear that a 118-122 breaks someone's jaw? Or how he put Ceja's down? A bigger fighter and very tough I might add. Do you remember the Japanese fighter face? I think his power is more than decent.

They were both 121.5 lbs during weight in, look at Wilder, he was outweight by Fury by 44 lbs in the first fight yet he put him down twice. Thats power.

How many more fights are left in this man? Guillermo has to fight Inuoe or Nery. No sense wasting the precious little time he has left. Make an announcement.

Yeah, but that was the weigh-in. I don’t remember the fight night weights, but Donaire was significantly higher than Rigo. I believe Guillermo came in at 126. It’s not like heavyweight; at those low weight classes, a difference of even five pounds can be significant. Nonetheless, Rigondeaux had Nonito literally running away towards the end of the fight. Heavy-handed little guy.

I disagree. I think he has good power.

When he sits down on a shot and he catches you, you'll be hurt.

He's strong for a little guy.

weight in is one thing, how much they weight fight night is another. You can't compare heavyweights. Tyson used to put down fighters not only heavier but much bigger than him. If you are of the opinion that Rigondeaux has average power, I think you don't have too many knowledgeable fans thinking like you. In any case I agreed that Wilder has a power that I haven't seen in a long time.
