You can take him out for dinner, perhaps.

Lost to Spence came back and fought Vargas? Garbage...Garcia doesn't deserve the $ or the beating he would get from PacComment

Mikey was getting outboxed easily early. He should consider himself lucky Vargas doesn’t have pop or else he would got in trouble with all those left hooks he was eating.Comment

I honestly do not understand the hate Mikey gets on this board. He is a damn good fighter , I wish he would go down to 140 because he has a ton of great fights he could make at that weight. But I don't blame him trying to secure that bag with a fight against Manny because who is not ?.You got Spence & Crawford calling Manny out instead of each other GTFO.I think the fight in interesting enough at 147, but would be really good at 140.I would pick Manny to win , but the one thing that Mikey has that could give Manny problems is Mikey's timing it is impeccable.Comment

Everything you've said is true!! Boxing being what it is, I can see the fight happening. Manny Isn't crazy, he knows that he could get some good money fighting Garcia. Garcia has a good enough name and resume to keep complaints to a minimum. It would be seen as a good stay busy fight for Manny. Style wise, Manny is better fit for Garcia than say Thurman or Spence, simply because of his reach. I agree that Manny will do some major damage if he connects unlike Vargas!!
Anyways, Garcia left for 2+ years on principle. He wasn't getting what he thought he deserved or the big fights he wanted. Garcia will always push for the biggest hardest fight there is because he has plan and wont fighting for much longer. He's acting like he's Canelo and only looking for so called legacy fights. He could have had them with Loma, but Loma's long term plans did not line up with Garcia's timeline so he went to 147 instead.. That's the way he thinks and planned his slow walk into the sunset.
Just my theoroy on the guy.. I do respect that he's going for the toughest fights even though the odds are not good after the beating Spence gave him.
He’s barely acclimated at the weight, he still look very chubby and slow to me.
I really don’t really like a stay busy fight for pac at this point in his career. It’s just additional mileage for such an unimportant fight...with nothing to gain in the eyes of a lot of people. Like i said i’d rather let him have an exhibition against conor and retire..
Don’t get me wrong, before spence-mikey, pac-mikey at 140 would have been great. Mikey wouldn’t have been in such a mismatch.Comment
