Mikey is still getting better. And he wants the best fighters. What more can you ask for? Boxers today are cherry picking and avoiding hard fights. Mikey is picking on and beating up bigger ppl

he wants the big money fights just like anyone else. he's not looking to fight who he's suppose too. no one is asking for a pac vs mikey fight but mikey himself. go and fight loma for crying out loud.

Vargas was landing plenty of leather on Mikey's face, and he doesn't have near the speed or power of Manny. My only question is whether or not Manny has aged overnight since his last fight. It will be a one year layoff since the Thurman fight if they set a date for this summer. Might be too much time off at 41.

How about Mikey v Danny Garcia and then the winner gets the Manny payday...which is what this is all about.

If manny wants money why not go straight to conor. He’s 41 and wont have the motivation to fight coz he’ll gain/prove nothing.. waste of time in my opinion..
Everything you've said is true!! Boxing being what it is, I can see the fight happening. Manny Isn't crazy, he knows that he could get some good money fighting Garcia. Garcia has a good enough name and resume to keep complaints to a minimum. It would be seen as a good stay busy fight for Manny. Style wise, Manny is better fit for Garcia than say Thurman or Spence, simply because of his reach. I agree that Manny will do some major damage if he connects unlike Vargas!!

Anyways, Garcia left for 2+ years on principle. He wasn't getting what he thought he deserved or the big fights he wanted. Garcia will always push for the biggest hardest fight there is because he has plan and wont fighting for much longer. He's acting like he's Canelo and only looking for so called legacy fights. He could have had them with Loma, but Loma's long term plans did not line up with Garcia's timeline so he went to 147 instead.. That's the way he thinks and planned his slow walk into the sunset.

Just my theoroy on the guy.. I do respect that he's going for the toughest fights even though the odds are not good after the beating Spence gave him.

Mikey is not a WW but I don’t fault him for going after the big money. Pacquiao is strong and in very good shape at 147lbs, not bloated at all. And he still has the handspeed which is important at his age.

Mikey looks soft at 147lbs, his style of being patient is not the type of patience that JMM and Mayweather show, Garcia can be outworked and outlanded, while JMM and Mayweather negated Pacquiao’s usual high work rate with just enough movement in between their countering. Mikey doesn’t do this, he is a very stationary target and iirc Vargas actually outlanded him in total power punches by a slight margin and I feel like Mikey got away with one there. If the judges were on their BS, that definitely was a fight that I can see be a draw or 114-113 across the board for Mikey. Very close fight, that really after the KD, it had no business being close or going the distance. But Mikey’s style allowed Vargas to come back into the fight. Mikey would lose a wide UD, 12 round shutout, 120-108 vs Pacquiao. Only thing he will have going for him is that he will survive Clottey style, just cover up and go the distance like he did vs Spence. He will land good punches here and there but nothing that will win him rounds imo.

                Pacquiao UD.
