do you even know what Manny went thru before he became known here in the US?

i was watching him in the Philippines local boxing channel and he got fed to adult veterans when he was a kid. but of course he was meant to be great and won but also got caught.

then look at his fights in asia.

    do research.

great management for a 17 year old right?

That guy doesn’t know much about boxing dude. It’s clear that he was offended by this topic, because he immediately came in trying to talk crap about Manny. Like wtf

Manny’s career could’ve actually been even greater if he managed it better.

Wtf has that got to do with managed career, its not this is your life, its how was your boxing career managed, the popularity he commands allows him to get away with things other fighters never could.

Many greats come out of hard times Manny is not the only one he is just another great that made it to the top, they ALL have a back story.

If Floyd had just gotten brutally knocked out then yeah who cares if he would have fought Rios. People always leave out the part where Manny almost died the fight prior to fighting Rios and he didn’t have any belts at the moment. Rios fight was fine. And Algieri? Didn’t prove to be elite but God forbid floyd fight a in prime undefeated boxer coming off a career best win. That’s what algieri was when Manny fought him. And he had the style that supposedly manny was being protected from.

I'd say Joshua's career was pretty well managed, Ruiz fight included. Really he should have won that fight if he fought smart, there is only so much a manager can do though. The fact he made like $70M in a rematch after a loss is a sign the business sign of things isn't going too bad.

Canelo's $365M has to have him up there.

But Floyd gets bonus points for basically doing it all himself towards the end and having the 2nd biggest PPV of all time being him flogging a 0-0 MMA fighter in boxing.
