Garcia was occasionally landing punched,but Vargas was landing far more consistently with the jab and the body work.

But he hit Mikey with power shots too, especially in the 11th and 12th and Mikey didn't land enough power shots in those rounds to have been more effective than Vargas. Same applies to early rounds

Mikey deserved the win, but if you score it round by round, you could maybe make a case for a draw. Mikey simply doesn't throw enough to win close rounds, so all those early rounds and late rounds could easily go to Vargas.
