I actually had the exact same card. The narrators were talking nonsense about Vargas getting battered,but after the knockdown he invested in the body and slowed down garcia significantly. Garcia was occasionally landing punched,but Vargas was landing far more consistently with the jab and the body work.

He won the first 4 rounds no contest and he won at least three of the last four. Vargas won 7 undisputable rounds.

Vargas won this fight. I don’t know how Garcia was winning rounds throwing 2 punches at a time and eating jabs all night. Makes no sense. I don’t care how tired Vargas looked he was landing more punches and Garcia was taking rounds off.

i had it 7-5 for Mikey so 115-112. Jessie had very long periods of times throughout the fight especially after the knockdown where he was too inactive for my liking. A lot of rounds were swing rounds that he could've won but he let them go away. I felt like he wasn't willing to go through the fire to win and i think that's why he lost.

Everyone scores differently but I thought Vargas won 11, 12 easily. I wasn't counting my scores but I feel like it should've been draw or Vargas. Garcia won by wide margins during middle rounds and Vargas by thin margins during late rounds. Winning by wide margins some rounds can give the impression of dominance, I feel like that happened with the judges for those 116 - 111 scores.

garcia sure did more damage, but if you go round by round, you could have given vargas the win.

Definitely can see a close win for Vargas but that’s heavily favouring his activity, he was hitting gloves for most of the night. I think Garcia deserved the benefit of the doubt in the close rounds so I had him winning 115-112.
